Partial lockdown ordered for all Florida prisons in response to potential riots

A partial lockdown was ordered Thursday for all Florida prisons in response to tips about potential revolts at several facilities, a Department of Corrections spokeswoman confirmed.

The lockdown means recreational and educational areas will be off limits to all 97,000 inmates. But inmates will still have access to meal halls, phone areas and bathrooms, according to the department.

The heightened security measures come a day after the department announced it was canceling weekend visitation privileges at major institutions, work camps and annex facilities out of an "abundance of caution."

New Afrikans? I laughed pretty hard when I read that. Anyone who has actually encountered "New Afrikans" know they are a hard working, educated,homogeneous, family oriented, law abiding community.

I know the muzzies were active in the brig at Camp Lejeune in 91 and 92. They were specifically targeting black Marines but they would take anyone they could.
