The President, to his advantage and his disadvantage, does not seem to be a very political person at all.
He doesn’t seem to know who is on his side, and who is not. He also doesn’t seem to realize, or perhaps doesn’t want to admit, that no one in government or the media is on his side. Except perhaps for Sean Hannity.
He is utterly alone in the middle of the Swamp, and my guess is that we are probably going to have to help him soon. And that’s really only fair considering we made the Swamp.
If Trump is anything close to being the tactician that he’s proved himself to be so far, I’m pretty sure he knows who is and who is not on his side, for the most part. If it appears that he’s rubbing elbows with one of them, my guess is they’re about to be dropped like a bag of hot rocks.
We made the swamp? Unless you mean the American people kept voting in the same pols decade after decade; I have no idea what you mean by "we made the swamp". We didn't make them corrupt; they did that on their own. Our FR numbers are pretty good but they aren't enough to say "we" voted any particular President in. We helped but not alone.
Also, what do you mean Trump is utterly alone? He has over 60 million of us Americans standing by his side at all times plus he has his close inner circle. Some of those I don't trust, like McMasters, but he has others. Yes; I would like to see more close conservatives with backbone who would be utterly loyal to him but until that happens; he seems to be doing pretty good considering he's fighting the swamp dwellers from the dem and GOPe party's.
McConnell has to go, that's for sure, but so far Ryan's doing what he's supposed to be doing. I put him in the GOPe category but like I said; so far so good. It's the McCain's and Graham's that are the problem. They can only be removed by their respective states and that's hard to do as we found out here in AZ. Looks like Flake will lose next year though so there's some hope. Maybe the brain cancer will take McCain out of action soon. One can hope anyway.
