Will the Democrats that run the Washington state executive try to get the name of the state to something else, maybe Cascadia, or Cal Anderson (first open homo in WA state legislature)? The left wing views of most of the elected executive office holders in Olympia would suggest that they prefer the state be named one of the alternate names mentioned above.
I’d like to believe that. But this is a movement that made a country go from 0 to 100 mph in 60 seconds on same-sex marriage. When it comes to preaching “tolerance” they have a powerful stranglehold on the nation. If they start calling people bigots for not agreeing with them, people quickly start agreeing them. There has been no effective pushback on the branding of the Scarlet B for bigot. On the contrary, they’ve been able to use it more powerfully than ever. Companies are terrified of losing business if they get branded as bigoted or prejudiced. People are afraid of losing their jobs. No one has been able to come up with a message that can counteract the effect of the “bigot shamers.”
Even when Republicans renamed French Fries to Freedom Fries, they never thought of sending back Lady Liberty.
The nation’s capital,
Washington D.C. needs to change its name to a gender neutral pronoun.

I’ve been watching for a comment such as yours to preface a theory of mine in regard to what I believe is the strategy of the real leadership of this neo-Bolshevism that is now plaguing our country.
These Bolsheviks are keenly aware that the stigmatizing and shaming of Germany and the German people over the seven decades since the end of WWII has succeeded in turning that once proud and courageous people into a mass of pitiful, self-loathing, and defenseless sycophants of the EU. And I suspect that that historical development is seen by this new crop of neo-Bolsheviks as a template for how to destroy our constitutional republic. Thus the constant characterization by these leftist/communist thugs of everyone to the right of them as racists and Nazis so as to shame, stigmatize, and silence all Americans who do not share their Communist ideology.

Legions of American youth, radicalized and demented, already reject most of their own history thanks to leftist-controlled education.
Many of them now feel no loyalty or love of their own history and that includes the Founders.
