The South isnt the only place where Confederate monuments still exist.
New Yorkers need only look to Brooklyn where a plaque honoring Gen. Robert E. Lee has been affixed to a maple tree outside a church for more than 100 years.
It wont remain there for long, though.

The Taliban is at it again.
One of the well known activities in genocide is activity designed to erase a people or culture completely.
These people are genocidal and must never be allowed to gain power.
And it is a near certainty they will at some point, Just be ready, they have the will and have polarized us as the target. There is only ONE thing that stops them... the second amendment.
Honestly, who gives a f***? I care about jobs, 401ks, taxes, regulations, sustained economic prosperity and stability, etc. This is just Democrats putting on a show for their dwindling base. It’s the race card. It’s their only card.
Incredible the similarity isn’t it. That’s why I always call it a terrorist organization. “The George Soros financed Antifa terrorist organization” “The George Soros financed BLM terrorist organization” “The George Soros financed Occupy wall street terrorist organizaton”...How long is Trump going to let this go on before he does something about Soros? THAT GUY is behind ALLLLLLL of this, ALL of it!
In a way, it’s amusing. It’s a scripted out affair...something you’d expect from WWE-wrestling. You would think that jobs and taxes would be the absolute number one topic on people’s minds. If you walk into any working-class bar....asking guys...90-percent will agree with you.
If you went and asked folks where the nearest Civil War statue is located....99-percent would have absolutely no idea.
A small plaque on a tree outside some random church in Brooklyn.
This is huge news.
I wonder how long it will be before the Antifa start invading libraries and burning books? I think that will be their next phase. Then their liberal enablers will lecture us about how it is “fascist” to NOT burn books!
We need to confront our history from time to time. We shouldn’t allow the American Taliban to sanitize our history.
Yes, what you address is very important, but these things are incremental. If we allow them to expunge our history, they’ll move on to other things.
We need to put our foot down on a number of efforts the Left is pushing right now.
This doesn’t simply go away if we let them do this. They will be emboldened to do other things.
This is very important. We’re talking Hitlarian modus operandi here.
I agree that he is, and if you think about it, he’s openly financing riots, sedition, racial strife, and treason.
You’re right. He needs to be prosecuted.
Hey, I wouldn’t argue against it.
That’s how absurd this has become.
I will add, we either confront this or we are in serious trouble as a nation.
This is not just another thing that will blow over.
95% of the political class is either working for the communists or is willing to surrender to them.
If the rationale is accepted for removing a remembrance of Lee, than the memorials for the equally morally flawed, and racist former leaders Jefferson and Lincoln should be taken down as well.
Yes, Lincoln fought to take down slavery but never came to believe “the Negro” was equal to “the White Man” in every way, not in citizenship, suffrage or socially. And for all his wonderful sentiments Jefferson did not oppose the union when it did not ban slavery, and remained a slave owner unto his death.
My point is that if there is a standard it needs to be applied equally, concerning “racism” and in today’s context and not the context of the times past, because that is the standard the Left-Fascists seek to apply. So, if that is as it is to be, then tear down the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials as well. They were “good men” in some wonderful ways, but in the end still “racists”.
Then when everything historical is torn down, only a very numb today will be left with no history under it.
I see this as more than simple Communism. You’re right about the percentage of sell-outs IMO.
This is full on chaos for the single goal of destroying the United States.
Once that’s done, I’m sure they’ll try to implement a new system, but guess what. They have sewn the seeds of political discontent, and those who are wielding “pseudo” power right now, ARE NOT going to let folks like Soros dictate what happens next.
That’s the danger here. We have a full blown Hitlarian effort going on here, and these folks will do the same things Hitler did with power.
When it’s too late, folks will wish they had the protections of the United States back. Alas, that won’t happen.
We’re headed for very troubling times here.
Revisionist will never stop....”whiteness” is the target now...it IS the race card. The RATS are in trouble. They lost a significant percentage of their base. Americans spoke in November and it floored them, it’s Soro’s way to retaliate and a way to keep Wasserman
Shultz out of jail....Odungo and Hilda are huge participants behind the scenes...
Erasing a people’s history is a precursor to erasing those people.
I think the word you are looking for is Stalinist.
I’m not a big fan of the Confederacy (based on the utter destruction is brought on), but they fought on principle. This part of our history is important. There are major issues to discuss.
This wasn’t solely about slavery or racism.
The Emancipation Proclamation wasn’t lofted until near the end of the war, when Lincoln was having a near impossible time of financing the war effort.
He raised this issue to garner more support, and it worked.
Imagine ending the war without it. Had funding been sufficient, he may never have even pushed the point.
That’s quite a revealing bit of history, about a war that was supposedly fought to end slavery.
“I will add, we either confront this or we are in serious trouble as a nation.”
When you have the GOPe throwing in with the likes of ANTIFA in hopes of damaging or removing Trump somehow...we’re up sh!t creek already.
