Pompeo Says He’s Seen All Obama Admin’s ‘Unmasking’ Requests, Won’t Say If It Was Spying

CIA Director Mike Pompeo says he’s seen all of the unmasking requests made by members of the Obama administration during the election.

In an interview with Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday,” Pompeo would not reveal whether the requests constituted spying on President Donald Trump, his campaign or transition team.

Obama officials asked for various intelligence documents to be “unmasked” to reveal the names of any Trump campaign or transition members connected with surveillance of meetings with foreign governments or officials.

Pompeo would only say that the CIA had worked well with Congress.

“There is an active investigation going one all across Capitol Hill. We have done our job as the CIA. We have provided information and responses to inquiries from multiple committees, Senate and House side. We will continue to do that to make sure they can perform their oversight functions properly,” the director stated.

Wallace asked if Pompeo had “seen all the requests” made by the Obama administration.

“Yes,” answered Pompeo.

Wallace inquired if he was “satisfied that they are all legitimate?”

“We provided all that information to Capitol Hill….There’s an active investigation going on, Chris. We’ll let them complete their work.”

All of the requests?

Even the ones under double secret probation request from pseudonym accounts on non-government servers?

Comey lied. FIBbers lied. CIA CYA-ed.

I do not trust a one of them to release FULL information on the depth of their crimes.

Sadly, 60%+ of the country is just fine with that. All the Democrats and all the progressive Republicans. This is what fascism looks like.

Do they include Susan Rice's requests? I thought they were all being held in the future Bambi library. Isn't that what was reported?

I’m sure there was plenty of spying on Trump and associates outside the bounds of the law....which I think is what you’re saying.

The Rice accounts being in the Library is a false flag event. No such thing happened. Dems just threw it out there and MSM repeats it daily. Repubbies ignore it like the cowards they are. It seems like this guy is doing it correctly. Even if it takes 10 years to go through channels.

Trace all of it back to Obama's (and Hillary's) paranoia---if Hillary lost, all of them would have big Big problems.

REFERENCE---Then-Pres Obama and his minions started developing the “Russian hacked the election” narrative to give them cover for their blatantly illegal spying on the Trump campaign.

Obama began spying on Trump a year earlier.

This is the stuff of third-rate banana republics. Susan Rice, and all concerned, including BO, should be in prison right this minute. (hat tip Junk Silver)

============================================

FROM ONE OF THE MANY EXPOSES---Seeking to retain his position as CIA director under Hillary, Obama-era Brennan at the CIA used phony foreign intel as a pretext for a multi-agency investigation into Trump.

That led the FBI to probe a computer server connected to Trump Tower and gave cover to Susan Rice's sifting/unmasking operations.

Not only Brennan.... "Susan The Sifter" had a dog in this hunt......Hillary tapped her for Secy of State. One could conclude Comey also had his reasons .....to stay on as a Hillary factotum. Mighty powerful incentives for anti-Trump shenanigans.

.......apparently there are records proving that Obama's CIA director, John Brennan, oversaw repeated spying on the phone calls of President Donald Trump and millions of other private American citizens. An audiotape just released by Federal Judge G. Murray Snow is part of a civil case........

Whomever tried the translation from English to Russian screwed-up several times....... and this is how they were outed.

We certainly hope this latest White House “renovation” has removed the spying technology installed by Obama before he left. (Remember in December of last year the Oval Office was being “renovated” before Trump’s transition team could move in?) Hopefully, President Trump had his own people doing the job and they have done a good job before he comes back to D. C. today.

Wallace inquired if he was "satisfied that they are all legitimate?"

The fact that he felt compelled to ask this question pretty much answers it.

On November 18, 2016, he was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to be Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate 66–32 on January 23, 2017.

Pompeo was born in Orange, California, the son of Dorothy (née Mercer) and Wayne Pompeo. He is of Italian ancestry, as his paternal grandmother was born in Caramanico Terme. Hey, Mike why Obama’s and Brennan’s CIA spying/monitoring/surveiling Mr Trump and other Americans before he became president.

Wasn’t that a flagrant violation of the CIA’s original charter, not to spy on Americans in America?

Mike, at one time even the NY Times didn’t want the CIA spying on Americans!:

DON’T MAKE THE C.I.A. K.G.B.!!
By Harry Howe Ransom
Published: December 24, 1981

Excerpt:

As a member of a Presidential commission headed by Vice President Nelson A. Rockefeller, in 1975, Ronald Reagan signed its report, which deplored the alarming ‘’deviation’’ from its charter by accumulating secret dossiers on thousands of Americans. Operation CHAOS had severely damaged the agency’s legitimacy. The report cited the C.I.A.’s violation of its charter and urged future Presidents never to assign the agency to domestic spying.

That was sound advice, because it recognized that efficiency inheres in preserving a distinction between the C.I.A. and F.B.I. More important is the point that the C.I.A.’s founders unquestionably intended the agency to be restricted to foreign areas. They understood the dangers posed to the Bill of Rights by a nascent secret police.

To assign internal espionage to the C.I.A. makes it resemble the Soviet Union’s K.G.B., a police-state agency combining domestic and foreign spying. C.I.A. operations should be kept outside the country’s borders. Despite the intent of the C.I.A’s founders, its charter remains ambiguous. Congress must legislate a revised charter that clearly prevents any President from allowing the C.I.A. to spy on Americans at home.
