A top Republican senator called out President Trump on Twitter Saturday, after Mr. Trump declined to condemn white nationalists when violence at a "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia left one person dead and 34 others injured.

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colorado), leader of the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2018, called on Mr. Trump to "call evil by its name." Mr. Trump, in brief remarks Saturday from his working vacation at his golf club in New Jersey, said he condemned violence "on many sides." Given a chance to clarify what Mr. Trump meant by "all sides," a White House official told the press pool the president was "condemning hatred, bigotry and violence from all sources and all sides. There was violence between protesters and counter protesters today."

How controversial. A president who condemns violence on all sides.

See what I mean folks. Republicans are a total, effing, waste of skin joke. One whiff of white supremacy, and they all come crawling out of their rocks and run to the nearest microphone faster than Chuck Schumer to apologize and point the finger at Trump.

5 cops in Dallas murdered by a BLM supporter and no Republican said JACK that Obama and the Dems were responsible. Ditto for Ferguson, Baltimore, NYC, Berkeley, and Chicago where Creamer actually staged riots to blame it on Trump back in March 2016. and idiots like Cruz and Kasich took the bait.

What we're seeing is the beginning of crushing the conservative/patriot movement in America. The Left CANNOT take control without first destroying white working and middle-class Americans who want to be left alone.

Why are there never such strident demands made whenever someone named Mohammed or something similar starts killing? How about that guy in Ft. Hood, for example? YES, I would like some additional info first...

So let me get this straight. When Abdul al-Jihadi drives a truck into a crowd, we need to wait, be patient, do a thorough investigation. But when Joe Whitebread drives a Dodge into a crowd, we need to condemn immediately and jump to conclusions.

I'm confused.

Cory Gardner answers to - and does the bidding of - big-money globalist donors. They hate average middle class American conservatives.

All you freepers who rush to defend Republicans against Democrats, you’re suckers. The GOP establishment despises you, and takes your votes for granted.

another “nobody” heard from. Just looking for self-promoting publicity.

Wonder if he stood against the expanding marijuana industry in “Rocky Mountain High” Colorado? Wonder if he even knew about it. Wonder if he knows anything.

such midgets?

The big globalist donors find them. They want midgets, because midgets - empty nobodies - are easy to control. You can tell Cory Gardner is controlled by big-money donors. He doesn’t have thoughts of his own, and if he did he would not dare reveal them.

The whole Charlottesville thing was a put up job, very likely by Soros who has finally figured out how to play both ends, and more the right against the left, to the effect that Trump supporters will heretofore be viewed as disaffected nazis, klansman, and other ultra-rightest jerks.

Those flags even still had the creases as if they’d just been unpacked.

We’ve been played, and it’s going to be really hard to earn back whatever credibility has been stolen from us.

Look for this kind of stuff to be the new normal.

Noted.

Was there a spare foam peanut or two to be seen on these freshly-unpacked protesters? ;)

These imbeciles have gone off the rails. Terrorism is an act to "terrorize" people, make them afraid. This was a riot and a goon who decided to use his truck as a weapon.

“We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.” ― Ronald Reagan
