For # 5 - they will throw you under the bus just out of fear of losing their jobs. Nowadays that usually equates to losing your home, savings, credit history...

I don’t know why this guy thought he could publicly attack his employer without consequences. If I have issues with my company, they’d be the last to know (as I exited). I assume this guy knew the risks.

Yep. Don't complain about anything, even about issues that you think are innocuous. Even your salary. If you don't like something, and it's bad enough, find another job.

I assume this guy knew the risks.

I don't know. He seemed pretty naive. He learned some hard lessons about work and life.

I don’t mind voicing issues with my supervisor (which has risks, but nothing like publicly slamming the company). I’m also not one to say “Go elsewhere” right off the bat because I know many of us can’t. This was just a strange way to do it - unless he intended to leave anyway, in which case it is very funny. He’ll probably have to change his name to find another job in a large company, though.

I would think it’s high time that JimRob stop utilizing Google-Analytics on this site. I questioned its use back when it started showing up here. I have always blocked all scripting from Google other than while using their maps.

Google should remember what happened to IBM in 1984. No company is too big to be out competed.

I like how Damore questioned (page 9) why liberals aren't calling for more "Discriminating just to increase...women’s representation in the homeless, work-related and violent deaths, prisons, and school dropouts."

I guess the natural differentiators that result in THOSE disparities is to be ignored.

Your #5 is essentially the story of the coworkers not having to outrun the bear; they just have to outrun Damore.

The Google beast has its meal, so the others are safe for now.

I can only which Google, a DARPA funded company from the get-go, a slow death. Since day one Google has had government spooks inside the building. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is an agency of the United States Department of Defense which was responsible for the initial funding of Google for its search engine technology that would allow the US government to sift the Internet for actionable intelligence. Google is a creation of the US Military-Industrial Complex and is a weapon in the hands of the deep state.

The only thing that has saved America so far is that the federal bureaucracy is too slow and stupid to analyze and act upon the data in a reasonable time frame. They are like a python that is choking while trying to swallow 9 rabbits at the same time. Google/Alphabet must be broken up using existing federal antitrust laws.

I assume you meant to say I can only wish Google, a DARPA funded company from the get-go, a slow death. If so I agree with you 100 %

I spent a year at Microsoft in 2004 through 2005, and I can tell that you just were not paying attention. You probably had a skill that Microsoft really needed at the time so that they would overlook your political heresies.

I remember telling MICROSOFT business leadership at the time that they were stupid for insourcing Indians instead of Americans. I told them to their face that someday they would be working for an insourced CEO like a bunch of little bitches. The only thing I have to say that vindicates my prediction is “Satya Narayana Nadella”. What a bunch of ball-less cucks at Microsoft.
