A woman aiming to become the first female Navy SEAL officer quit about a week into the initial training, Task and Purpose reported Thursday.
The unidentified female candidate dropped out in early August during a three-week course in San Diego that began July 24. It was the first assessment of potential SEAL officers before they can be sent on to more grueling courses, according to the website, which cited "multiple Naval Special Warfare Command sources."

She was just too fat and out of shape for starters.
Better have a Congressional investigation to see if her feelings where hurt. Gotta give her some credit for wanting to be the best she could.
I doubt she was the first in the class to quit and I doubt she will be the last.

I think BUDS & SEAL training have about a 95% washout rate.
Good question these days. Don’t take any description for granted. Seeing is knowing the whole picture, most the time.

It was a DOR (Drop On Request). Only a small percentage of Navy Seal candidates ever make it all the way through. The training is brutal - not just physical but mental. Very few men are tough enough to complete the program. Sending women through this training is just crazy. Political correctness run amuck.
Kinda hard to pass a 6 month Seal training course when you flip out once a month.
Why is this news? Are we supposed to think there was discrimination? that the evil men went patriarchal on her? that she got paid 78% of what a man gets paid?
She failed. End of story.
This will guarantee that there will be a big push to pussify the Seal training coming soon.
