I’ve read and also know of cases where in heavy trauma, it’s common for the memories to disappear until one day, usually into adulthood, they legitimately remember the events.

I know of a case where a church janitor was molesting three boys. They finally remembered it years later.

To the churches credit, it took them about two minutes to call the police after they found out.

This is very much a “gay issue”; it involved a perp raping somebody of the same sex. It is a gay issue within the Catholic Church, and it is a gay issue within the Boy Scouts; avoiding that terms is just glossing over the illness of homosexuals.

As an ex boy scout, I never got molested. I was only in it for 1 1/2 years. When my parents decided to build a summer cottage, I quit. If my kids wanted to be in scouts, I’d be there as protection.

That is a different type of perv; I never accused all gay men of molesting children, but every scoutmaster or priest that raped male children is a gay man.
