The article claims that a lot of the reduction is from illegals withdrawing from the program for fear of getting busted.
It needs to drop to zero. ZERO. The only govt. institution that should be feeding ANYONE are military members, their families, and at Veteran homes. Let the churches take care of the rest. Once we turn off the tit of benefits, illegals will leave, and the lazy will work or starve.
Read that illegals are going hungry because they are scared to get their food stamps.

Whenever we have an apt for rent and people email us about it(Put the ad on craigslist) the second they mention if we accept Section 8 housing I just delete the email. If I had to bet some of those people no longer collecting food stamps are in this country illegally..they should NOT be getting any benefits anyway, they come here to sponge off the Govt..for life
