Listen oldbie, whoop-de-do about your work history, and you are by no means the only person here who worked on the campaign or contributed. Although you finally acknowledge the danger, you just can’t stop yourself from lording it over others by saying you understand it far more than I do. On what basis can you possibly make such an assumption? When and only when Sessions produces concrete results in turning back the incredible assault on our duly elected president will he deserve the benefit of the doubt you keep urging us to accord him. Someone has to start pushing back. Our congress sure isn’t, and us deplorables out here are powerless. We look to people like Sessions to fight on our behalf but are constantly disappointed. He did a terrible thing by accepting a job he knew he would not be able to fully perform. Hence the cynicism and lack of trust you see in these posts.
No they probably don't discuss it they just leak like the rest of the swamp creatures.
The credibility of these people (DOJ) is that of the FBI stalwart rock solid - till nothing happens - HRC walks free after straight up selling access - nope we chase this Russia crap that everyone knows is crap.
Remember how much of a straight shooter (Larence Walsh, Ken Starr, Patrick Fitzgerald, Comey, Mueller) was supposed to be. The truth is I don't know Jeff Session from Adam and he not going to send me memos but not seeing much help from anybody DC related.
He could say "you know what? Now that everyone has seen there is nothing to this I unrecuse myself and am personally taking control of the investigation" - voila done two days of tizzy fit till president does something else to piss of the swampies.
I Dare Sessions to unrecuse himself this is an obvious coup - help stop the coup Jeff get you head in the game for the nations sake. Stop being such a wimp - double dog D.A.R.E yah
Sessions is not the enemy. He is trying to drain the swamp.
Here are what some of the enemies of Jeff Sessions are saying (go to the articles for the specific accomplishments):
Jeff Sessions has done more damage in his first 100 days than his boss
US attorney general Jeff Sessions may not be part of the biggest investigation in the Department of Justice, but as he reaches 100 days in office, theres little doubt that hes had an important impact on the American criminal-justice systempotentially for years to come.
Despite the political turmoil of the Trump administration, Sessions has moved to reverse a tide of progressive reform and to fulfill his bosss law-and-order agenda, a collection of concepts loosely articulated during the 2016 presidential campaign. Sessions biggest actions, from undermining federal oversight of police departments to cracking down on undocumented immigrants, have worried a wide array of lawmakers, law-enforcement leaders, advocates and scientists.
Of all the cabinet members, maybe even the president, he has to this point had the most significant impact as to policy changes, said Jesselyn McCurdy, the deputy director at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Washington Legislative Office told Quartz.
Unlike his boss, Sessions is delivering on what he has promisedsometimes on causes he has championed for decades.
Theres been a great bipartisan movement by organizations on the ground and members of Congress to reform the federal criminal-justice system, based on successes that have happened in the states, but the leader of opposition to that reform was Jeff Sessions, as a senator from Alabama, McCurdy said. These are all things that [Sessions], as a criminal justice reform opponent, had on his radar already.
McCurdy said Sessions was definitely living up to the ACLUs concerns, and in some areas, fulfilling the worst-case scenarios.
Jeff Sessions ushers in 'Trump era' at the Justice Department
In just over two months, Sessions has proved to be a central figure in effectuating Trump's vision for America in tangible ways on immigration, crime, police reform and civil rights.
And while the White House searches for new messaging to frame what Trump has accomplished in the first 100 days in office, Sessions has single-handedly managed to make several significant domestic policy changes -- from pressing pause on implementing police reforms to withdrawing Obama-era protections for transgender students in public schools.
His radical transformation of the Justice Department's role is no accident.
Many of the changes Sessions has made thus far track a familiar principle of federalism: the notion that the federal government's powers are limited and it can't coerce states into action. In other words, the federal government should get out of the states' way.
Sessions' critics worry that he is well on his way to undoing many of the major progressive achievements of his predecessors, often by withdrawing from court cases or previous directives that fail to align with his views. Yet Trump supporters cheered Sessions on during the presidential campaign when he said, "the American people are not happy with their government."
Now that Sessions is the nation's top law enforcement officer, his defenders and critics universally agree: he's been busy fulfilling the President's campaign promises and he's just getting started.
I have worked with Jeff Sessions office for almost ten years as a member of a grassroots immigration group that lobbies on the Hill. I have met many elected officials in this job and before. Sessions is the most principled and honest person I have ever encountered in the political class. His integrity is impeccable. There is a reason why he was reelected last time in Alabama running unopposed. The Dems did not even bother having someone run against him. His constituents know him best.
Sessions is no wimp. He is a fighter. If Trump wants to get rid of him, he must have the courage to fire him. Otherwise, Sessions is going nowhere. And we should all be thankful for that.
And BOTH are the way they are because of the MSM””
Truer words never were written.
Yes, yes, and yes, AND, the Awans were intentionally allowed access.
Agree, and Sessions was the first to come out in support of President Trump. Half of freeper-land seems stuck on attacking Trump’s allies, and ignoring his real enemies—the old media and their rat party.
This presser was obviously more kabuki theater, which Republicans are expert at, he may get some things done concerning Republican policies, but he will be of ZERO use the President in fending off the corrupt deep state and never-trumpers.
Who, btw, have always had one goal....to separate Trump from his base. Beware of those who post that this is Trump's fault. They are the same ones who counseled the base to drop Palin, Sharon Engle, Todd Akin, etc. Because it was “their fault”.
They have no clue how to win...their forte is in surrender.
How long do we give him? 1 month 2 how many? When does the time run out. I appreciate you sharing your experience. I want Sessions to work out but so far we don't seem to be making the expected in roads. The clock is ticking on the Trump presidency and it looks like Session's is in the gee wiz I'd like to help but (all the while running out the clock) ... crowd... plus he is a Senator so his reputation is garbage to most of us who have spent a lifetime observing anyone in that institution
A lot of them seem to be like irrational children, on drugs, kooks, or rooting for the other side.
Thank YOU for your report. I knew he was what you say just from reading about him, hearing him speak, and his positions. It’s great to get your personal experience.
Exclusive Jeff Sessions Orders Look into 'DOJ Slush Fund' Payments to Leftists - Breitbart
An internal Department of Justice memorandum obtained by Breitbart News Friday indicates Attorney General Jeff Sessions is trying to get to the bottom of the DOJ slush fund for left-wing groups he dismantled in June.
Now that Sessions is the nation’s top law enforcement officer, his defenders and critics universally agree: he’s been busy fulfilling the President’s campaign promises and he’s just getting started.
The Director of the FBI reports to the the Deputy AG, Rosenstein. But Sessions is Rosenstein’s boss and can direct him to “clean up” the FBI. It definitely needs to be reformed. The FBI has become too politicized.
Crude, actually.
Unnecessary crudeness.

I like that.
And thank you for your service, sir.
Well said.
