The victim got the purp the wrong flavor Slurpee? It wasn’t drugs, he wanted Cocaine flavor Slurpee, the victim got him a Coke flavor Slurpee.
Your “Brooick” (street parlance) is a prime target for column breakdown so please be careful.
Of course, you may not live where that skillset is common...
Funny how homicides are very common in long held Democrat controlled cities.
I never buy a car that thieves want to steal. I’d say the Buick LeSabre is one of those vehicles but I like them.
A SCOTUS ruling on the legal responsibility for the police to protect any ONE individual or property does not absolve them of the MORAL and ETHICAL responsibility to carry out their duties to protect society as a WHOLE.
One, that I might add, the vast majority take with sober earnest. For instance, when an officer hears shots fired, he or she does not wait for the call for service, they initiate it and start searching for the source. Numerous other officers move to the same area, all unbidden, and if you want to believe the SCOTUS ruling implicitly, without an legal mandate. They are ACTIVELY putting themselves into danger to restore peace and perhaps, apprehend an offender.
If they had no responsibility, then why patrol looking for crimes in progress? Every ne’er do well that is pedestrian checked, run for wants/warrants is deterrence or outright enforcement. When a police officer breaks up a crowd hanging out in front of the liquor store, that’s deterrence for if the public order crimes are not addressed, then they become much large problems.
Police protect people by crime deterrence and apprehension of those who commit crimes. The disconnect comes because you have activist or lazy prosecutors and judges who have NO desire to protect citizens. Thus those who should be incarcerated go free or get out early.
The police are not the end all, be all and law enforcement is supposed to be a collaborative effort with citizens. Each party needs to understand each others roles and limitations.
Too many ChiCongo refugees.
I had a ‘93 LeSabre (The Sword!). The best ride of any car I’ve owned (heavy for a mid-sized sedan). I was sorry to let it go (bad tranny).
You cannot use democrat and shame in the same sentence.
