Having someone make big decisions for him is only helpful if he is VERY faithful to Trumps campaigned on agenda.
If he opposes a wall, if he opposes Trump cutting off support to the Syrian jihadi rebels, if he wants worse relations with Russia, if he wants trannys in the military, if he likes Comey. If he respects the sedition from the intelligence community in the last election. If he wants to widen the Afghan war... then having him make decisions for Trump is highly destructive.
I haven’t seen anything to tell me he is fully MAGA as expressed in the campaign.
Kelly Bar the Door, in the key of D.
Just had a thought. What if General Kelly baring the door prevents other “views” from being heard. The issue that comes to mind is the firing of the staffer by McMasters for circulating a memo detailing the deep state against Trump. Will President Trump hear about it?
Kelly did not want this job. I suspect it will have to go his way or he will quit.
You tend to get some indication of how well a steam engine is being run by watching the color of the smoke coming out of the stack and the pressure in the boiler. In the case of the WH, those indicators may be quantity and veracity of leaks, tweets and MSM defecations.
Sure...However, please list all the specific items that keeps you from supporting the President's choice.
Seems as if thoughts of a possible whining snowflake cannot be interpreted as evidence of Kelly's unfitness for the position.
The crap is that in an article praising Kelly, the leaks are still flowing. The leaks are like a sieve. These leaks are intimate leaks. Someone leaked the entire contents of a national security meeting Trump just had on Afghanistan! The test is if Kelly can stop these leaks.
