I don’t think brain cancer diagnoses make for very good lifespans. At 86. He’s toast.

By they, I mean Republicans. They should be arrested, tried, and hanged by the neck until dead.

See my tagline. I've had it for more than 10 years. Welcome to my line of thinking. Need more like us.

Corporations seek lower taxes because it reduces their operating costs, obviously.

I feel bad for you that you have become so bitter. Corruption, as you described, does not change the truths of Supply Side economics or the Laffer Curve. Or that consumers end up paying corporate taxes.

Conservatism isn’t to blame for what you describe, and is indeed the solution to those problems.

Supply side and conservative economics may very well make things better but, given the fecklessness, duplicity and treachery of the Republican c of c class it will never happen. Lower taxes will just lead to higher deficits as they will increase spending since they do not pay as much and receive government money in the form of subsidies and contracts. As it stands now it has all been just a pipe dream. The uniparty coalition can only be broken up by promising higher taxes on them. If they are going to sell out then they should shell out. Certainly if they have to go to Mexico to fill jobs then we do not need more growth just to keep employment up. We need border control and to take back our country. Nothing else is even important.

The usual life expectancy for someone with this surgery is 12-16 months.

You are so scattered I can’t begin to address all of the issues you brought up...nor do I care to. All I can say is that your wish for higher corporate taxes is in line with the Obama administration. Want more of that? You might be on the wrong site.

If the corporate executives are going to help spend the money(like Obama) than they should be expected to pay for it. If they are going to bring in illegals and send our good jobs abroad than all of that money made form it should go in taxes. Given the demographic changes that are happening in this country the things that you and I have believed are largely done. The only way to keep the people running the country from passing out the money is to make them pass out their own money. They sold us down the river so they should pay for it. The country is run by rich limousine libs and country club Republican sell outs and I have had it with both of them. The kind of advocacy we have done plainly and clearly does not work it is now time for something else to keep what is left of our world and take it away from those who would destroy it(if that is even possibile).

Much of the gains in the stock market, the rise of consumer confidence, new hiring, bringing back US manufacturing, was resting on an outcome of lower corporate taxes. Surely the GOP has enough common sense that screwing this up could send the US reeling?

The Republican majority in the House and Senate appear as a group to have some problem enacting any agenda that might be favorable to Trump, so assuming common sense on their behalf may very well prove to be mistaken.

Curious? Can Trump take an active involvement in their primaries?

He’s alluded to that possibility if they’re unsupportive so, yes, I’d say that’s becoming increasingly likely.

"Common sense" and "GOP" don't often collide in the same sentence.

I hope, you know, deep inside, that you are spouting nonsense. Corporations (with exceptions like Solyndra or Tesla) don’t “spend the money” from taxes. They don’t “bring in illegals”. They do react to stupid US tax laws. Money goes where it is treated well. It needs to be treated well here.

They don't spend money from taxers they are however community leaders who cause money to be spent by there influence. The Chamber of Commerce types who put pressure on Congressmen to lower their taxes to help business and of course to "help the rest of us" are exactly the same ones that line up to say”you are going to help us get our fair share, aren't you”. They are the prime movers in the Republican establishment an they say they are going to lower government spending and talk about all of the wasteful programs but none have been shut down. How many can you name? They are open borders sand directly influence the nonenforcment of immigration laws and as such they are helping to bring in illegals an are also doing so by giving them jobs at the expense of American just so they can get cheap labor. The wealthiest neighborhood including Beverly Hills and Manhattan and other places are very Democrat and they control the media and the Republican country clubbers do not even try to change the course of the media and as such this is another reason they deserve to pay more in taxes Because they are what is wrong with this country.

“I really think you are not sober when you post. Sorry dude; I’ve lost all interest in you.”

I think you are just living in the world of the 50’s and 60’s when the country clubbers really were conservatives. They grew up in the depression fought world war II, worried about communism, had crew cuts and bought suits off of the racks at JC Penny. They had character and conviction and too many conservatives today just do not get the changes.
