Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is coming under mounting pressure to explain why she kept an IT aide on the payroll for months after a criminal investigation was revealed, facing calls from Republicans to testify as well as a newly filed ethics complaint.
"I think she should testify, Republican Party Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told conservative radio host Dana Loesch on Monday. If I had a staff member, an IT staff member, who had access to all of our data and all of our infrastructure and he had come under investigation you better believe I would be cooperating.
Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., also indicated support on Monday for Schultz testifying, though no such hearing has been formally called at this point.
We have to investigate how our systems may have been compromised, and that may involve putting people in the [witness] chair, he told Fox & Friends.

Is Debbie’s brother, Steve Wasserman at the DOJ, handling this “matter”?
Her suicide is being planned
I think little Debbie has got her mammories caught in the legal wringer. This is going to get very interesting
Let’s see how far this goes. Democrats fear nothing because the Republicans let them get away with crime after crime.
And what is anyone doing about this?
The DOJ is worthless. Nothing will happen to her.
There is a fatal weight-lifting accident in her future.
I plead the 5th, ad nauseam.

If congress doesn’t even want to investigate HOW ALL OF IT’S INFORMATION/SECRETS HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED, they are all a bunch of neutered lemmings. This should be huge! If I was in congress I would be very scared and very angry that this could happen. Everything to do with this countries financial systems and national security run through the counsels of congress. Nobody cares?
Obviously, citizen Trump controlled Debbie’s brain by some kind implanted [by the Russians] remote controlled device and made her do these terrible things!
I have the opinion that “Republican” per say of the legislative branch that defines your view is out of it other than the typical Kabuki Theater they constantly engage in for re-election air time. Congress cannot convict anyone but instead is limited to making referrals to the DOJ.
I would say that very under the radar that he brother might well be in the office that would handle this, the bullet-proof case is being built and they eyes inside are on her brother to keep him at a great distance. The conflict of interest is just too tight for it not to be.
I agree. I’m not holding my breath waiting for ANY of these criminals to face the music. Watching the Clintons for years has revealed the corruption. Lucy can sit with that football til hell freezes over. I no longer have hopes for any justice whatsoever - it’s easier to accept it than get my hopes up.
Yes. On the surface, Wasserman handling the prosecution of bank fraud in conjunction with a real estate loan might not require recusal just because the defendant worked for his sister.
However there are legal guidelines regaring conflict of interest and recusal, and the standard is “the appearance of conflict”, regardless of whether an actual conflict exists. Thus, he will be required to recuse himself. Analysis here:

She’ll show up with a half-dozen lawyers, limited memory, and the Fifth. Congressional hearings these days are show trials without judgement.
Nothing will happen unless the FBI drives it. Will they?
Well one can hope
Complaint? How about ARREST her.
Not true.
For the last 8 years under the minority clown we elected as pres,
He used that horse crap dept to go after any and all he thought enemies.
Under his hench men and woman he did a number on loads. Just ask tea party folk.
McCabe still in charge. New director waiting to be voted in. The GOP is ENRAGING.
No doubt she received her handwritten suicide note in the mail.
