Scorpios know all.
Wow, what a change in interpretation. Sounds more like wishful thinking by a few who are vested emotionally.
I used to follow astrology and I was always told that eclipses were heralds of change followed by a period of renewal. I would say that it would mark a shift in policy .... at most. A period of tough decisions that if executed properly will bring a return to stability and while not prosperity, at least beneficial times.
I am still waiting for the dreaded “Jupiter effect” of 1982.
Like “climate science” and “gender science”,astrology is settled science.IOW there can be no doubt that DJT will be vacating the WH by September.
Astrologically, the president and his First Lady should be fine. They were both born in the year of the dog—which is almost as good as the year of the cat (my year).
Wade Caves you are so vane
How do you know? Are you a prophet?
Coming next week:
Time cover on how Tarot card readers say Trump is in for a big fall as journalisms downward spiral continues.
So Newsweak is basically the National Enquirer now. Sweet.
Astrology?
A total eclipse?
Is that all the “progressives” have left?
It is way past time for them to detox from the bong water.
Does anyone with an IQ above single digits really believe that arbitrary and capricious “measurements” of the apparent (distorted by gravity across vast distances), relative (because everything is moving with no fixed reference point), time late (measured in minutes for planets to eons for stars), motion of large, distant objects in space (as observed from a single, small, planet on the fringe of a minor galaxy) can foretell the future?
The only possible useful purpose an Astrologer could serve is to make Darwin Award Winners, the “Here, hold muh beer...” crowd, meth heads, and village idiots appear to have relatively, near-normal, IQs; at least when compared to an Astrologer.
Must give credit where credit is due: Compared to Astrology, Global Warming appears to be almost imperceptibly more credible. And they are probably taking care of the widow of that Nigerian Oil Minister who keeps filling my inbox with spam.
No I am not. But I am aware of a man who received the prophecy in 2011. Mr. Mark Taylor of Florida. Google MARK TAYLOR PROPHECIES. You’ll get more info than you have time to read. There have been numerous updates from 2011 until recent. I need to check the latest myself.
The staff here has watched far too many bad movies with the hero always knowing when an eclipse will occur and uses the information to make his escape.
Been there, done that.
Did these same astrologers say Hillary was a shoe-in?
Wow so many have forgotten, Regan and Nancy were heavily into astrology. Regan made speeches around it. Regan was a Christian, believed in it so much he would consult the stars when to make speeches. Nancy would even inform him of it. A God-fearing man, Regan was the best President in the modern era and he consulted the stars. Other Presidents did the same. JFK had Jeane Dixon who foretold the assassination of JFK. Presidents are human as well. Does Trump consult the stars? Usually, things like this come out after the President leaves office. Just because one reads the stars does not make them athiest nor have they turned away from God.
Even the Popes consulted astrology.
Emperors and popes became votaries of astrology— the Emperors Charles IV and V, and Popes Sixtus IV, Julius II, Leo X, and Paul III. When these rulers lived astrology was, so to say, the regulator of official life; it is a fact characteristic of the age, that at the papal and imperial courts ambassadors were not received in audience until the court astrologer had been consulted. Regiomontanus, the distinguished Bavarian mathematician, practised astrology, which from that time on assumed the character of the bread-winning profession, and as such was not beneath the dignity of so lofty an intellect as Kepler. Thus had astrology once more become the foster-mother of all astronomers. In the judgment of the men of the Renaissance and this was the age of a Nicholas Copernicus—the most profound astronomical researches and theories were only profitable in so far as they aided in the development of astrology. Among the zealous patrons of the art were the Medici. Catharine de’ Medici made astrology popular in France. She erected an astrological observatory for herself near Paris, and her court astrologer was the celebrated “magician” Michel de Notredame (Nostradamus) who in 1555 published his principal work on astrology—a work still regarded as authoritative among the followers of his art. Another well-known man was Lucas Gauricus, the court astrologer of Popes Leo X and Clement VII, who published a large number of astrological treatises. ln Germany Johann Stöffler, professor of mathematics at Tübingen, Matthias Landenberg, and, above all, Philip Melanchthon were zealous and distinguished defenders of astrology. In Pico della Mirandola (Adversus Astrologos libri XII) and Paolo Toscanelli astrology encountered its first successful antagonists; later in the Renaissance Johann Fischart and the Franciscan Nas were among its opponents (Cf. Philognesius, Practicarum, Ingolstadt, 1571).
Almost all astrologers are leftists and almost all of them allow their preexisting political biases to shade their interpretations toward what they want to see happen.
However, this is the first eclipse since 1776 with a path that falls solely on the United States. This alone would seem to imply something very momentous for this nation. From an astrological perspective, a solar eclipse can mean several things, all related to change. It can mean death or rebirth and renewal.
The moon is representative of the people, the masses, the commoners. The sun is representative of a leader or leadership. So, in this sense, the common people overshadow the leadership. Who has the heart of the common people in the US? Who is it that the common people want to eclipse, to overshadow?
This is also happening in Leo, so astrologically speaking it certainly would appear to relate to über-Leo President Donald Trump in some way. I can see how it ultimately could be positive. That’s what an astrologer with no bias against Trump would see.
For a variety of other reasons, this signals a dangerous time for our President also. But, we knew that already, things have been very weird with the plotting and the palace intrigue since he won the Republican nomination. This will continue, and it could get worse. I can think of no other person better suited to be in the Oval Office to confront and ultimately win out over such machinations, though.
Time will tell.
To clarify, this is the first total solar eclipse since 1776 with the path of totality falling solely upon the US, crossing 13 states, entering at Corvalis, Oregon and exiting at Charleston, South Carolina.
