We have a standard transmission.
Here in the USA that is probably the best anti-theft device you can have.
I don’t think Gen-Xers and Millennials even know how to use manual window cranks much less manual transmissions.

A former relative of mine was being kidnapped and taken to a house where the perp was meeting a friend & they had all sorts of “plans” for her - as he was telling her about the plans, she decided no way was that happening to her, fought the guy (who was trying to drive at the same time), managed to get the car door open & jumped out while the vehicle was going 45 mph. Lots of road rash, but otherwise physically ok - mentally, it took a while to recover.
