Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus revealed that White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is someone who “only cares about” President Donald Trump’s agenda and thinks about his nationalist-populist platform “24 hours a day.”
“I will say that Steve is doing a great job,” Priebus said in a Friday evening CNN interview after Trump tweeted that former Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly would be the new chief of staff. “He is a brilliant guy who only cares about the president’s agenda. He thinks about it 24 hours a day. Never quits.”
Priebus’ characterization of Bannon is consistent with accounts from former Bannon associates who often wondered if Bannon, known for working around the clock for issues he cares deeply about, ever slept because he cared so much about the nationalist-populist agenda that galvanized Trump’s voters and will be key to Trump’s reelection prospects.
Bannon has a whiteboard in his West Wing office with all of the promises—including building the “border wall”—that Trump made to his voters in 2016.

Looks to me that either CNN or Breitbart added the “Nationalist” part of the Priebus statement.

Good! I tell ya, listening to Priebus talk these last few days you would think he did nothing wrong..very supportive of President Trump..really have no idea what is going on, was he the leaker or not?
I suspected as much and I glad to hear it confirmed.
With the advent of the “Mooch”, I think Bannon is doomed. I hope I’m wrong but I see nothing good in his influence on Trump. I like Bannon too.

I discovered Steve Bannon while listening to the Patriot channel on Sirius XM early last year. I truly believe that Breitbart’s show on the channel really made a difference.

Priebus was a party hack when RNC head. He will never change, and; Walker and Ryan are his pals. All politics and no business experience and/or never a real job makes one like all three.
Could be that Preibus was just overwhelmed and completely burned out, he may have found another job or Trump may have found him something more suited for him!!!
Concur; I like that President Trump praised Reince as “a good man” and that Priebus is publicly supporting the President. I really do not like what was attributed to Mr. Scaramucci. It is so inconsistent with the Christian life portrayed among so many of the Trump Team.
