Are the generals in Obama’s social-justice PC military really trustworthy?

The criticism of Sessions is Ike sending Patton to England before D-Day making Germans think he was out of the war-—just before letting him loose in France.

I think the President's tweet criticizing Sessions and having the democrats defend him was an act of genius. I can't think of anyone other than the President that the democrats loathe more than Jefferson Beauregard Sessions.

Yes, and Trump has more troops than he may currently realize.

If we get the right circumstances, he may have more of a problem keeping them off the field (i.e. everywhere) than getting them on.

May God forgive me for stating this publically, but may McCain’s tumor be more invasive and progressed along further than even his doctors thought possible.

He needs to die soon. I rue the day I voted for him. I hate to say it, but perhaps it was better for the country that Obama won in 2008.

And Lord, please forgive my nasty heart, but this man not only has cancer, he IS a cancer on our country.

Amen

I think the greatest power President Trump has is the grass roots, Boy Scouts. A lot of people are going to come out of their caves and out from under the rocks where they have been hiding, when they see their champion Trump issue the battle cry.

Generals have spent their whole life following orders.

Hmm. Not sure exactly how many exist as you ascribe.

During my time in the military it was taught that you only obeyed lawful orders, and that at no time would “just following orders” be considered a defense of any sort. We were also taught that if the situation on the ground changes, you devise a new plan that will work and carry that out. Not that there is never a time to hold your ground in the face of insurmountable odds, but work to avoid that.

This change in thinking from how personnel in other armies operate is what Blackjack Pershing brought to the table a the United States and it was inculcated into the boot-camp training system that he devised. And that training is why even the bulk of Marines (assuming they are putting any effort into the proscribed professional reading list) consider Pershing to be the greatest general the United States has ever had.

So basically while generals and the ranks follow orders, they are trained not to do so blindly, and indeed that they have a personal responsibility to question them or disobey them under some circumstances.

I do believe if it comes to war Trump will retain control of the bulk of the military, but during his eight years in office Obama worked hard to persuade as many pajama boys as possible to sign up. There would probably be splintered factions

McMaster rumored to be the next to go:

I’ve heard that from other sources other than the above link.

Marines don’t play defense.

And neither does Trump.

Republicans have been playing defense entirely too long.

Maybe put a company of armed Marines in the Senate.

The Dims are always going on about their love of Multi Culture-ism....and all the wealthy ones want to go live in France.

So how about to hire these guys to drain the swamp....looks like those Axe's would work just great in breaking down doors and knocking the locks off filing cabinets

I follow Assange on Twitter, and my assessment is that he's pretty out of the loop these days on some things. Clearly he hates Hillary, and has lots of material he likes to remind the world about. When it comes to things related to Trump or inner working of the Trump presidency, he's pretty much relying on guesswork and reading things on the Internet.

Assange seems to be spending more and more of his time just trying to stay "relevant" and keep his name out there.

I was hoping Sessions tweets were a rope a dope, the media Dems GOPe spent all week defending him and then sessions drops all his indictments and we watch with glee as they try and discredit the guy they spent all week praising.

Hope you’re right on this, LS

I can see it being st up as you suggest, but have one big question for ya:

where did sessions go to find his small, understaffed, totally secret indictment team.

Seems to me like everybody (except sessions) in DOJ & FBI are deep state, so where is he finding skilled trust worthy hep that haven’t leaked?

He has no allies whatsoever in the Swamp. They all hate him and us for sending him there.

***********

True that. We supported and elected an outsider who cannot be manipulated by the denizens of the DC Swamp. They loathe every one of us for electing him, especially those who still attend his rallies.

Trump has no friends in DC, that’s for sure. That’s why we need to support him in every way and at every opportunity.

Sessions

To repeat what I have posted elsewhere, the best part of the deal is that the Senate has come out four-square behind Sessions. Regardless of what Sessions does, however loud the volume to get Sessions under control, Trump cannot do a thing about it. He is on notice that he will have Lindsey to deal with, and that the Senate will not take up another AG for confirmation.

So, hell or high water, we are stuck with Sessions.

Amusingly, Graham figured out how badly he had been played and introduced a[n unconstitutional] bill to make it illegal to fire Mueller.

Actually, if We the People hang together, a coup in America can not be successful. These Godless Republicans, after all, are nothing if not cowards at heart.

They are totally committed to their donors, but can not be elected if the people stick together. Trump proved that and so did we, we who did not succumb to the media slander as is our usual response.
