I’m a big civil libertarian. But allowing people addicted to heroin, meth or worse and keeping them in the free population is doing nobody a service.

I consider myself a civil libertarian also. Why are cops using narcan to save druggies from their own decisions? The other half of freedom is responsibility.
Offer them 10k to get a vasectomy our their tubes tied. Yes they will use that money to buy drugs but in the long run you will have fewer children in need. That’s pennies to what a lifetime of their kids will cost the state

Agreed. I never liked the idea of chemical castration of sex offenders for the same reason. Once you open that door, things can get strange in a hurry.

Time to quit this game of victim with these repeaters of drug abuse! They need to be incarcerated and put to work on the land that the states own with their prison systems. Quit giving them access to all of the programs that they do not care about!
