Knowingly or not, Mika Brzezinski has exposed the progressive strategy for ever-increasing government control of our lives. On today’s Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough actually made a principled conservative case against Obamacare, saying that many conservatives “do not believe that the federal government should compel people to buy insurance. Should not compel young people to buy health insurance if they do not want to buy health insurance.”
Mika responded saying that she understood Joe’s point about “sticking to conservative principles,” acknowledging that “many Republicans were deeply offended by the concept of Obamacare.” But Brzezinski then proceeded to give away the liberal game:
“People have it [Obamacare.] . . . Isn’t it politically past due to take away health care? Whether you were for it or not?”

Almost every Repub got elected promising to repeal it.
So, what are they going to promise now, seeing as its obvious they aren’t going to do that? Maybe they are hoping for a DNC majority so they can go back to promising stuff they aren’t going to do.

Then don’t repeal it. Just defund every penny of its enforcement. Then “amend” it to death, until it doesn’t apply to anyone younger than 200 and shorter than 19 feet tall in stocking feet.
Typical Democrat strategy — if Republicans win the first 6 rounds, the game will continue. But if the Democrats win the 7th round, then the game is over and the Democrats win and there’s nothing you can do about it.

The President at the time lied to all of us - multiple times - on how premiums would plummet, you could keep your plan, and keep your doctor.
Challenges to the law brought it to the Supreme Court where Roberts re-wrote it from whole cloth, morphing a mandate to buy a product against your will to a “tax” to make it legal.
It was promised that ALL ObamaCare negotiation would be broadcast on C-SPAN.
It was passed on strictly partisan lines.
It was born on the basis of Cloward-Piven - that is - to intentionally overwhelm the healthcare- and healthcare insurance systems, force a failure, and queue it up for Hillary to get the single-payer tip in, since she was the shoe-in to take over the White Crib from Barry.
Single payer is, was, and always will be, the left’s goal.
So if O’Care was crafted by deceit, passed unlawfully, re-written on the court’s bench, how do we unwind it? An awe-shucks, “regular order”, Boy Scout approach won’t do it.
Do we need to play as dirty as the architects of this Ocare mess to get us back to sanity, or do we all become Euro-Weenies and eat the feces sandwich of socialized medicine where we need a consult with a Congressman or Bureaucrat before we can have a consult with our surgeon?

The Dems have created a minor legislative miracle here - it's a program that actually isn't better than nothing. Put Congress on it and watch it disappear faster than an ice cube in hell. Heck, put the MSNBC staff on it and hilarity will ensue.
It is like arguing that if the death camps have already been built then we should not tear them down...
