President Donald Trump "has confidence" in Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the White House said Thursday, one day after Trump suggested that he should have picked someone else to lead the Department of Justice.
The Associated Press on Thursday afternoon reported the White House statement, which sought to allay a media uproar that followed comments Trump made to the New York Times

He has been a New York real estate magnate with properties worldwide for the past 30 years.

Sounds like the trip to the woodshed did a little good. Jeff Sessions is out there all over TV announcing the good deeds he has been engaged in recently, and putting a good face on how the various prosecutions are going.
The boy just needed a little encouragement, that’s all.

I learned not to be surprised by anything Trump says after reading about the remarkable — and sometimes zany — approach Herb Brooks took when he coached the U.S. Olympic hockey team to its gold medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.
I concur and he is setting the table to fire Mueller with cause because of COI issues. There is enough evidence out there for DOJ to open investigations into OBozo and his cronies. Room for indictments and lots more. Mueller himself can face criminal troubles over this.
