And here is persuasive evidence of the next phase. From THE FEDERALIST:

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, tech millionaire turned LGBTQ activist Tim Gill said he’s aiming to punish Christians who don’t want to participate in same-sex weddings.

For more than two decades, the software programmer has poured an estimated $422 million into various gay rights causes. After the Supreme Court ruled gay marriage legal in all 50 states in 2015, Gill turned his attention and resources to targeting Christians.

It was all a part of the Communist goals & plan as officially recorded in 1963 Congressional record. Here’s a few....

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

One more gold mine created by the lawyers for the lawyers. The coprophiles and lesbians see it as justification for their degenerate and diseased behavior, but hey, the lawyers and judges have profited and what could be more important?

The failure of the American public education system is mind boggling regarding the teaching of how nations rise and fall. Thanks for your post.

I (along with others here on FR ....) said this many years ago and we were right all along:

"Gay marriage" is, always was, and always will be about destroying Christianity in America. It's about destroying the Church, period.

Anyone who's ever doubted that needs to read the full article here.

Tolerance ... tolerating degeneracy is destroying Western civilization, degeneracy in the institution of marriage, in politically powerful, in moral code for living, in the laws of the societies, and in the embracing of religious degeneracy ... Islam is a militaristic way to conquer soft societies, and they weld strict behavioral codes!

As much as you are correct it is just as much about gaining access to children for sex. And if the J. Epstine revelation is any indicator, even Bill and Hillary liked sex with children and since the flesh was fresh they didn’t care which sex it was - two people who attained residence in the White House, almost twice.

Down the slippery slope the Marxists go sliding on the backs of Liberal “good intentions” about “rights”.

the public school system has been remarkably successful in achieving its primary goal, which is to enrich administration and faculty, two entities purporting to be at odds, but who are actually engaged in a lucrative symbiotic waltz...any student actually being educated is a happy coincidence...

Cannot argue/debate you on that point. All part of living in the end times, IMO.

Not to say the world will end and Jesus will return in my lifetime, I just think the signs are clear that we're living "in the end times."

the millions of Americans who saw the value in preserving traditional marriage.

It's an emotive phrase, but meaningless in this context.

What millions of Americans voted for was to reserve post-1969, non-traditional marriage, to opposite sex couples. Rightly, in my opinion, but 49 of 50 states had outlawed traditional marriage by 1973, when the Supreme Court (the same Court in the same year that gave us abortion) drove the final nail in the coffin with Gomez v. Perez.

Traditional marriage has three essential features:

1) It is permanent (divorces are virtually forbidden, with so few exceptions as to be meaningless)
2) It is sexually exclusive (adultery is a crime and is punished as such, alienation of affection is a tort and/or a crime)
3) Children born during the marriage belong to the father who must by law support them, bastards have no legal fathers.

This simple system, born of millenia of human experience and wisdom, was uprooted so thoroughly by 1973 that by now these simple concepts essential to sustaining a culture of marriage which can also sustain a people are useable only as punch lines to a joke.

this has been happening in the human race since the day someone figured out how to profit by meddling in someone else’s business...

‘divorces are virtually forbidden, with so few exceptions as to be meaningless’

not true; adultery has always been accepted as a basis for divorce, and since adultery has always been rampant within human history, and always shall be, well...

‘alienation of affection is a tort and/or a crime’

you’re joking, right...? tortious liability extends to two people falling out of love...? the judicial system of even the most repressive of cultures would burst at the seams if such a common occurrence were litigated...

Type "alienation of affection" into the search box of your favorite search engine, review the results, and get back to us.

I absolutely agree with you that Gomez vs Perez is the cause of the explosion in illegitimate children. As far as your other sentiments go my study of history does not show that Americans were ever so virtuous as you believe. At the turn of the century most of our major cities had many houses of ill repute. And if their husband cheated women did not have the legal or financial ability to end the marriage.

Heck even my little suburban area had a whorehouse that operated from the 30’s until the 60’s. I found out about it when I was listening to the old timers talk at my father-in-laws business about ten years ago.

nice try...a common law tort abolished by all but six US jurisdictions; hmmm, why do you think is has been abolished as a tortious action by 44 of 50 state jurisdictions...? Please get back to me...

I will agree that I posted hastily, and offer an appropriate apology...

I saw a story about an alienation of affection case in North Carolina back in the 90s on TV. This women sued her ex-husbands new girlfriend for millions of dollars. The show was very sympathetic to the women at first. She kept talking about how in love they were and had been married for twenty years with two kids, she was a stay at home mom, he owned his own business.
Then they interviewed the ex-husband and he said they hadn’t had sex in the last four years of the marriage, that she kept turning him down and he eventually stopped trying. They went back to her and she was like I thought he was so busy with work and I was so busy with the kids. I lost all sympathy for the wife at that time.
I was watching this with my soon to be wife at the time and told her that if even a month goes by without me trying to have sex with her alarm bells should go off.
