I thought more rain in CA is supposed to be good, since they keep having draughts.

“Science” in which virtually any outcome - no matter how contradictory - is seen as validation of a theory, is not science. “Non-falsification” is a sign of junk science, or maybe just flagrant BS.

"Why do we never hear of the upside to ‘climate change’, like pineapple plantations in Nebraska or year-round bikini weather in Minnesota?.............................."

Good point; all outcomes of "climate change" are described as uniformly bad, or even catastrophic, whereas you would think they would be a combination of good and bad.

One of the worst things that can happen to a semi-arid locality is to begin getting more moisture than than has been historically recorded.

The Central Valley, from the San Joaquin and south to Imperial Valley, are essentially deserts most of the year. Many places, the soils are too saline to raise most crops, and the “white earth” has to be flood-irrigated and then drained for several years, before even crops like alfalfa can be raised. But once the salinity and the excess alkalinity are flushed out, the soil is among the most fertile found in the US, and with adequate irrigation, can produce crops year around, which vastly increases productivity.

In recent years, because so much water has been diverted from agricultural use, many of these highly productive tracts have been allowed to go uncultivated, and are reverting to their previous semi-arid to desert state.

The Central valley could go from too little water during some months of the year, to WAY too much, making a serious adjustment in the way agriculture is managed there.

Looked up ‘Edward M House’. What a creep, who worked for the creepiest of presidents. I could definitely see someone like him pushing the Great Socialist Climate Hoax today.

I postulate that the reason is most coastal regions are populated by liberals, and THEY would bear the brunt of and ‘rise in sea level’ by losing their posh waterfront homes in Malibu and the Hamptons, Martha’s Vinyard, Key Biscayne and Nawlins.

Therefore, to them anyways, Climate Change is BAD............................

You can be sure there will be flood and there will be drought, somewhere, every year.
The only question is which human activity to blame it on.

Dinosaurs, huge beasties, thrived on the abundant flora CO2 levels several times anything projected fed and these a$$hats think the planet is in danger. The ice ages killed off entire species, warmth is good for life. Ignorant is one thing. Stupid is another.

New Study: climate change will cause millions of libtards to undergo lobotomies so they don’t have to think about it

p.s. Who can tell the difference?

Didn’t they blame the last California drought on “climate change”? Now that it’s wetter in California, they blame that on climate change.

Worst case is it is 1 degree Celsius warmer which is nothing.
No ice fishing in Minnesnowda
It is a giant scam. Jerry Brown, the drug added governor, is stealing $2 billion from the carbon tax scam where companies are forced to pay for “indulgences” like in the dark ages. He then gives that money to the train to nowhere.

But the rise in sea level is disputed, ranging from zero to about a third of an inch over the last 40 years. But now, we are supposed to believe that the sea level will rise four feet in the next 40 years.

Guess what? Natural climate change has caused much wetter and much dryer periods in CA’s geological history. It’s all documented in geology research. There was one severe drought in historical time that lasted around 200 years. I guess these AGW freaks assume the hoi polloi can’t read or think.
