Saratoga Springs mayor: City police won't help with federal deportation efforts

Since May, dozens of illegal immigrants have been arrested and deported from Saratoga Springs, raising concerns about how increased Immigration and Customs Enforcement action could impact the busy horse racing season.

At a town hall meeting on Monday, Saratoga Mayor Joanne Yepsen made it clear that the city's police force would not be initiating or participating in ICE deportation efforts. The declaration was met with applause, WTEN-TV reported.

The Mayor's reaction to the enforcement crackdown on sanctuary cities has demonstrated that it must be accompanied by a targeting of those cities by President Trump's voter fraud commission.

I’m not a fan of frivolous lawsuits but it should be legal to sue any politician who endorses or supports sanctuary city policies then every time a citizen is even slightly inconvenienced by an illegal; they should sue these criminal supporters. Once they get, oh, 50k of them lined up which will cost them $50 million to fight, maybe they will start to get the idea.
