Riots in Jerusalem
Arutz Sheva ^ | 7/17/17 | Mordechai Sones

Posted on 07/17/2017 1:32:19 PM PDT by Lera

Dozens of Arabs rioted tonight (Monday), throwing stones and blocking the Maale Mota Gur road in Jerusalem.

Police forces are on the scene and the rioters are being driven out using riot control measures.

At the same time, dozens of Arabs gathered near the Lions' Gate and attacked policemen.

The Arab riots are part of the Arab protest against the metal detectors at the entrances to the Temple Mount following the murderous attack on Friday.

During the day, hundreds of Muslim worshipers came to the Al-Aqsa mosque but did not enter and prayed outside the Temple Mount to protest the placing of the magnetometers.

Why don’t they just blow up the mosque? That would make the metal detectors a moot point.

I agree. Blow it up and bring in bulldozers to clear the rubble so they can start building The Third Temple.

Awwww, who woulda thought? Arab snowflakes. They carry out a murderous attack on innocent people and expect no consequences? Throwing their version of a tantrum 'cos they don't get their way? They should be reduced to pulverized flesh and fed to pigs, but I'll settle for metal detectors to protect other innocent people. Don't like those, A-rabs? Move to another Muzzlime country, you waste of oxygen and space.

That could have been down when Israel took control of the site back in 1967, after the Six-Day War. Now it’s too late.

Back in 1967 Israel still had the support of most of the West. For various reasons that’s no longer true. If Israel were to blow up the mosque today, Israel would be treated as another North Korea.

A protest against the metal detectors?

Kind of says it all, doesn’t it.

Israel is already treated like North Korea. Ever heard of the “Apartheid wall?” All Israel has to do is threaten to turn the power off in Gaza. Problem solved.

It’s kind of a side point, but why should Israel supply power to Gaza in the first place? They should have turned that switch off long ago. Let the U.N., or Sweden, or somebody else supply power to Hamas.

It is interesting that the road where rioting started is named after Motta Gur, the Israeli commander whose voice is immortalized in the ‘67 War saying in Hebrew, “The Temple Mount is in our hands.”

A review of why it didn’t stay that way:

http://www.jcpa.org/jpsr/s99-yc.htm

...After the Temple Mount fell to the Israeli Army on the second day of the 1967 war, Goren, then Army Chief Rabbi, asked Central Region Commander General Uzi Narkiss to place 100 kg. of dynamite in the Dome of the Rock.

Goren repeated the need to blow up the Dome of the Rock at an all-day seminar on the Temple Mount for reservists in the military rabbinate. In the heat of war, where there was much bombing, such an action could have been carried out, Goren claimed, without even a formal military order to counter sniper firing from the Jordanians on the Mount...

http://jcpa.org/al-aksa-is-in-danger-libel-temple-mount/

...[Moshe] Dayan’s first act on the Temple Mount, only a few hours after IDF Chief Rabbi Shlomo Goren blew the shofar and gave the Shehecheyanu blessing beside the Western Wall, was to immediately remove the Israeli flag that the paratroopers had raised on the mount.

Dayan’s second act was to clear out the paratroop company that was supposed to remain permanently stationed in the northern part of the mount. Dayan rejected the insistent pleas of the head of Central Command, Uzi Narkiss...

...Dayan thought, and years later even committed the thought to writing, that since for Muslims the mount is a “Muslim prayer mosque” while for Jews it is no more than “a historical site of commemoration of the past…one should not hinder the Arabs from behaving there as they now do”...

Nothing angers a Muslim more than taking away their murder tools. How can they serve their blood-soaked god without the proper tools?

So “Palestinian” ka ka doesn’t wash up on Israel’s nice beaches. I mean excrement, not the people just to clarify. Ka ka describes both quite well.

Thanks for the info . I didn’t know who the road was named after. I grew up hearing stories about that week . A family friend was there while it was all happening but he didn’t speak Hebrew so I never hear the names.

Yeah , he made a huge mistake. The Israeli’s are learning though from their past mistakes. They are realizing that any foothold they hand over will just be used against them.
