Prof. Barrett may think she’s on to another clever ploy to silence the right. But the reality is the real verbal bullies (as well as the actually violent types) are on the left. People on the right would have a field day going after lefty posters who abuse & bully their opponents.

They attempting to criminalize speech by the law of transitivity (flawed in this case):

Hate speech = violence

Violence = crime

Therefore, hate speech = crime

Islam has a powerful effect on your nervous system. It may intentionally lead to your death if you are not an adherent of specific versions of Islam. Now am I to go to jail for the above two sentences? I never really thought of, “look out, he is trying to kill you” as hate speech.
