What is noteworthy is how much larger a man is Tebow than his teammates. Check out the celebration at the end.

I think it is GREAT Tim Tebow has found success in baseball.

All that talent and positive attitude would have been a waste in the not-so-good fit of football.

Go Tim!!! Next up, the Majors!

:)

The NFL would rather have Cup-Her-Dink.

Tebow is a rare piece of good news these days. Glad to see him succeed. I’m hoping the Mets will bring him aboard this season.

Great guy, great athlete.

NOT a major league caliber baseball player and never will be.

His “hot week” was hitting .269 in 26 at bats. For the season he is hitting .236 and strikes out once every 3 at bats. And his fielding is poor, 8 errors. All of this in the lowest levels of the minor leagues against mostly 18-22 year old longshots. There is no way his baseball skills survive against real pros at the highest level.

It’s a fun story, harmless and puts butts in the seats in minor league parks. Heck the Mets may even call him up one day when they are eliminated from playoff contention to draw a crowd.

Let's be totally honest here -- Tebow is improving, but he is 30 years old and will never be an every day Major League player.

But if he continues to show improvement he will move to AA next year, and possible AAA by the end of the year.

He might get a "Cup of Coffee" in the Majors Next September or September 2019 if he continues to play at a decent level (IE .260 or higher BA at each successive level).

His high point might be as a utility/bench player in the Majors, but even that is probably beyond him to be honest. I would say his "Every day" ceiling will be AA, possibly AAA

Good for Tebow. But he must be in his late twenties by now - he obviously draws fans for the Mets farm team, but does he really have any shot at a major league roster spot? He was good on TV, and he could easily build toward a career in politics if he wants. Might be time to move on to life beyond professional athletics.
