Lo and behold, that poor Iranian cancer researcher that was detained in Boston and returned to Iran is not such an innocent scientist. Shocked! NOT!

What is a “medical scholar” and how could paying one a salary be justified in the hospital’s budget?

I just think it is hysterical that the left was busy screaming that they hoped all of our children died from cancer because we were keeping this “humanitarian” from entering our racist country. What do we hear now that the truth has come out? Crickets

Seyed Mohsen Dehnavi was the head of the Basiji at Tehran’s Sharif University, former students at the university and activists claim.

Several former Sharif University students who did not want to be identified because of fear of government harassment told RFE/RL that Dehnavi was involved in putting pressure on reformist students.

Amir Etemadi, the chief editor of the opposition media outlet Taghato, which also posted about Dehnavi’s alleged Basij background, says he’s not surprised that a Basiji would want to live in the United States.

“I know that despite all the bad things they say about the United States — they trample on the U.S. flag, they burn it — one of their main wishes is to live in the U.S.,” he said.

“In Iran, [the hard-liners] say one day we will turn the White House into a [mosque],” Etemadi said. “It’s the slogan of IRGC and Basij members. It may be an exaggeration but I think they believe in this slogan. They believe they have to come to the United States if they want to deal a blow to the country.”

First off, I don’t believe his story, and secondly, I hope cancer wipes out the whole upper echelon of Iran. You know they are the only ones getting care.

Basij, An Anti-Iranian Formation Within Iranians

The question many have about the Basij, Is Basij a part of the Islamic Republic or its just a militia and the answer is: Yes, Basij is an Islamic Republic official unit and has authorities as much as other units plus an advantage that they are protended to be non-official and not a part of the government so the neither the regime nor the Basig wil be questioned about the Basij’s actions. Basij is funded driectly from the Khamenei’s Bank account which is 25% of all taxpayers money and Oil, Duties and income from other nathional resources combined.
Basij was established as forces made up of mainly young teenagers recruited from the musques, schools and religious centers to design an army exlusiveley to protect the ionterest of the Islamic republic leaders and the clerics against any national or foreign enemies.

This is the article that spills the beans about it being a postdoc. It’s funny because the liberal choir is wailing that children will die because he was not allowed into the US and his great talents are lost to us.

Dehnavi is yet to comment on the episode but his brother was quoted by Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency as saying that authorities had issues with his academic paperwork.

“His research is about treatment of cancer for children and he had traveled to the US to continue his education at Harvard University and participate in a postdoc programme,” the unnamed brother said in comments carried by Mehr.
