Cops once again turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio at a police funeral.

Scores of officers who assembled for assassinated police officer Miosotis Familia on Tuesday showed Hizzoner their backs during the mayor’s eulogy — a move reminiscent of the funeral for slain officer Wenjian Liu in 2015.

The protest comes after de Blasio skipped town for Germany Thursday — the day after Familia was assassinated by cop-hating gunman Alexander Bonds.

The feeling is well, well understood, but even de Blasio ought to be honored for his post. Are the police answering to an utter anarchy? This is to jump out of the frying pan, into the fire.

I believe that rather they should turn mournful, sad faces to de Blasio.

[I believe that rather they should turn mournful, sad faces to de Blasio.]

And, that the snubs should be reserved for when they have a viable replacement for de Blasio.

He is such a slimy lowlife piece of garbage. His election doesn’t say much about the people who voted for him.

I should add a link to this thread:

Ultimately it is a We The People problem in that place.

It’s easy to say Democrat doo doo, but who tolerated that state of affairs, knowing what a spiritual scourge accompanied them? Maybe the GOP never really raised a viable challenge on the real issues. The people all own this baby to some extent.

The real answer will come with a remembrance of God and the blessings of God. Far from some celestial meanie or martinet too.

Completely disagree: it’s di Blasio who disgraced the position. He deserves contempt and I’m proud of the police.

“Best” until we realize it is self punishing all around. The answer to a bad government can only be a good government. Not for a government to blow itself utterly apart and leave anarchy.

A sad face campaign, a black armband campaign, etc. would be more to the point.

Proud of police who have stepped into the void?

To whom are they answering now?

A “sad face” campaign would be as effective as a sad face emoji.

DeBlasio doesn’t care about the police.

Did Officer Miosotis’s family even want Kaiser Wilhelm there? If not, I’m totally OK with this.

Au contraire. It is for the sake of the people. Who should be moved to insist that de Blasio do better or be replaced.

It’s Satan who rejoices in a mutual hate between organs of the same government.

And really your statement should be FIFY’d, but I’ll just say it rather than going through the cute typography.

DeBlasio cares too little about the police.

If he cared nothing, then he would fire the lot.

"To whom are they answering now?"

The Mayor as always. Just because they don't respect him doesn't mean or imply they won't obey the chain of command.

Agreed ! Until we show contempt for the skullduggery and those who lead it, we do not have a country. Political correctness is a disease and must be eradicated.

Good. deblasio wants to lead the revolution against capitalism. He hates this country more than bammy and wants to be the next marxist muzzy-loving president. That’s why he’s doing this!
