The deceased Amish (Dejuan Guillory) was previously convicted of stealing an ATM with a Backhoe in 2015 and shooting at police. He was supposed to be serving a five year sentence in jail CURRENTLY.

He and his girlfriend were stopped because they were supposedly riding a stolen ATV.

After the man struck and knocked the deputy to the ground, the deputy tried to handcuff him.

The girlfriend jumped on the deputy's back and started choking the deputy (deputy now had to deal with two persons).

The girlfriend said: "We will kill him!" referring to the deputy.

One handcuff was on the man (Dejuan) but it was so badly damaged in the scuffle that it had to be removed with tools from the dead body.

The woman attempted to grab the Deputy's gun.

The Deputy was injured and had to treated at a hospital.

I assume at this point the Deputy feared for his life

The Deputy shot and killed Dejuan Guillory to extricate himself from this deadly encounter. Note the girlfriend was choking and trying to take the gun away from the Deputy and Dejuan had previously hit the Deputy to knock the Deputy to the ground.

Mamou is a small town in Evangeline Parish.

The LIBERAL (dingbat) media is claiming the Deputy wrongly shot the man.

It is possible that the Deputy had a mild concussion from the events that ensued.

Two people trying to kill a Sheriff's Deputy and the LIBERAL (DINGBAT) media is trying to call this a wrongful shooting (???) The woman said they (Dejuan and her) were going to kill the Sheriff's Deputy as she was choking and grabbing for the Deputy's gun.

DINGBAT/LIBERAL MEDIA alert...

I believe the Sheriff Deputy was dealing with two athletic people that he was trying to subdue.

And again, I believe the Deputy may have suffered a concussion from the incident.

It becomes a JUSTIFIED shooting when the Deputy was in fear of his life -- which was clearly met.

There are many very unusual names in the LOUISIANA AMISH community these days.

It is a woman's name -- at least by her parents (or at least the mother).

News 15 (15.1 and 15.2) are both Fox and NBC stations. That is why this is a News 15 story (broadcast on both the local NBC and FOX News stations.

Though only one handcuff was on, the handcuff was so badly damaged it had to be removed with tools.

It indicates how violent this confrontation is.

There is video of the shooting.

Most Freepers know that AMISH is a sarcastic reference to a violent siution. This is just for others reading the story.

The fact the convicted criminal was still on the streets points to our DEMOCRATIC Governor Jon Bell Edwards.

He was elected because Republicans broke Ronald Reagan's UNITY rule and cut the throats of other Republicans. The key culprit in this was David Vitter.

Both Bobby Jindal and David Vitter may be out of politics for good.

As for Jon Bell Edwards, he needs to be a leader. Period. If criminals are allowed to roam the streets because of WHATEVER problems in Louisiana, he needs to fix them.

The LIBERAL/Dingbat/Dimwitted media needs to be pointing accusing fingers at Democratic Governor Jon Bell Edwards over the death of this criminal.

Here we go again, another “Michael Brown” story who was such a nice guy, father of the year, getting his life back together, etc. etc. He was a thief, scum bag burglar, attempted murderer with a record and history of hating cops. Stop whining about the "poor dead soul".

It should not be. The Sheriff Deputy had to be treated for injuries. The Deputy had been punched to the ground, and the woman tried to take the gun from the Deputy.

The phrase for police is being in fear for your life.

If you are trying to hold somebody and handcuff them while someone is choking and trying to kill you, good luck.

Somehow the handcuffs were so badly damaged that they had to be cut off Dejuan (after he was dead).

How can this happen unless the Deputy had to fight for his life?

Good news is that there is video, but the IDIOT MEDIA will edit so that it looks like the Deputy so totally in control (as he was being choked).

Shame. Sounds like the deputy shot the wrong one.

She’ll be getting out sooner than he would (Feminism in action) and procreating w/ the next to come along.

Someone, please page Tommy S. to the white courtesy phone. Thank you.

She tried to take the gun away.

The Deputy was trying to deal with two perps at once.

The handcuff was only on one hand, but had to be cut off that hand as it was badly damage.

Possible violent struggle the Deputy had to deal with.

Maybe there is some good video to watch.

Previously, the one shot had shot at the police but was not charged...
