Was wondering why CNN has a monopoly at Airports, this article explains it.

What a great thing to find!

This is one of the most informative posts I’ve ever seen on FR.

Thank you.

FOX or OAN should offer it for free.

Not only that, but CNN is the only news outlet in many hotel rooms in foreign countries. I was in China recently, just before the big CNN blow-up, and their biased coverage of Trump’s “Russian” conspiracy was reprehensible. I finally found the national Chinese channel in English was much more balanced and interesting in terms of the range of stories.

Why not FOX or other conservative news networks on those hotel networks?

My bank has a TV behind the tellers - when waiting in line
or doing have to watch these clowns spewing out their

I see Knoxville (TYS) is on the list. The times I’ve flown in and out of there, Fox has been on the TVs. That may have changed since I last flew, though.

Wondering...would that be possible in this business-growth environment...??

And it’s the only news network in China’s airports!

I challenge everyone, whenever they are at the airport take one minute and complain to someone who works there. Does not matter who. It will bubble up to decision makers

It says in the article CNN is paying 90K to the airports.

CNN at airports is part of the Deep State. This arm must go. There is a small but growing movement to get other channels on at airports. I’ll be emailing them!

Wouldn’t be my bank for long.

I’d inform them that I don’t appreciate CNN and their biased coverage and I don’t appreciate doing business with a bank that willingly gives them a platform to do so.

I deal with a small hometown bank for both personal and buusiness.with transactionds in the millions....Bet they would listen.

At work the channel in the break areas alternates between FOX, CNN, HGTV and ESPN. It also varies by floor.

So?

If the forest was on fire yesterday, do we ignore it today?

Or do we fight the fire until it's out?

What’s neat is that many places are tuned to the home improvement channel, house flippers and so forth.

Even at airports, I’ve noticed this. Apparently some do change the channel is you request it.

???

Why would the airports, who now get big bucks to play CNN, say - "Oh, forget the money, we'll just show FOX and OAN for nothing."

Or am I missing something?

Time foe another cuppa Joe.

I went to Mongolia last year, and CNN was playing in the hotel lobby. When I got to my room, I found some Chinese channel playing, and found it just as biased (albeit in a different direction). There was not much choice in channels on the room TV, and I am not much of a TV watcher anyway. I think I fired up my computer and checked email and FreeRepublic instead of watching TV.

I agree it needs to go, but I fly a lot and wonder who watches television at an airport? These days most people I see are glued to their phone or tablet, many with earbuds in their ears.

A more frightening form of indoctrination is TSA. We are being trained to allow our property and our persons to be searched without warrant or cause. This is a direct violation of the Constitution.
