A lot of it depends on which direction millennials take.
Right now they seem to be completely insane. The almost succeeded in nominating Bernie Sanders!
If they don’t find some center as a group, if they don’t return to some semblance of reality, they’re going to take the democrat party over the cliff in the years ahead.
If that happens the only question will be whether or not the whole country goes with them.
Hopefully they decide to grow up before all that happens.
I’ve been following him since 1988, and that point on the spectrum right there, the one he sits on? That is the center. The real center, where it belongs.
Perceptions have been hauled far, far to the left.
Even if they wanted to move to the center (where ever that is) they can’t. The Democrats have created a coalition of extremist. The main stream media helped them by playing down the contradiction of goals of the various groups. As long as the Democrats were in control they were able to feed this coalition enough to keep them somewhat under control.
Out of power they (the Democrats) have nothing but hate and fear to sell, and middle America is not buying.
The extreme left are like little children that have never been told “no”, and now comes big daddy President Trump taking away their toys and sweets. They are throwing a tantrum. As you can not reason with a child it will be impossible for the Democrat Leadership to reason with their coalition.
They are hoping to find a way to remove President Trump as if that will solve their problems (it will not). The problem for the Democrats is that removing regulations and the government becoming more friendly towards business that the economy will begin to recover. The Democrats can not have that as it will prove (something we here already know) that their path is bad for business and bad for America.
The better the economy is, the worse it becomes for Democrats chances of winning in the next election.
This nations has swung too far left and is now swinging back towards the right. I am afraid the violence the left always accuse the right of is nothing more than projection of their methods, so we can expect them to get more violent before all this is over.
