What % of Tax Payer $ Incentive / Price Reduction has it dropped ... Is it near or identical to the same amount?

it will be a low production specialty product for the Rich.
If I was wealthy enough to have more than one car, I’d be temped to get a Tesla. A customer at my work let me drive his, the acceleration is breathtaking. It’s like 1st gear torque all the way up. You can pretty much from 60 to 70 as fast as you can go from 0 to 10. They are a gorgeous piece of technology for sure. But as your one daily driver, I don’t think so. Not yet anyway. I don’t want to wait 4 hours for my car to charge if I want to drive more than 200 miles in a day.
But they are way over-priced. You are describing the attributes of electric drive...the genius of replacing the transmission with electric motors.

Somebody needs to produce a turbo-hybrid with a minimal batter pak....sports car styling with electric propulsion, AWD, and 300-400 HP (2.5L turbo). At around $20,000, they'd sell like hotcakes.
Pure electric cars are just plain stupid.
They are very good looking cars. IMHO the best looking of the current crop of family cars. Wish we could get one with an LS, Cyote, or Hemi in it. Take your choice.
