I’ve heard the Pashtuns think it’s more pleasing to all that’s high and holy, to exploit a boy sexually, because that kind of contact with a girl would make them, ick, impure.

The Pashtuns are the only ones that dress them up like little girls. They hate women . Islam hates women .

This most likely the results of his first marriage.
Muhammad first married Khadija, a rich merchants widow. To whom he was very obeying (after all 'she' had the money and to get any he had to do what 'she' wanted). In todays terms he was a "Boy Toy".
