A producer for CNN admitted in a newly released undercover spy video that President Trump is "probably right" in accusing his opponents of engaging in a witch hunt as it relates to collusion with Russia.
The video, published online Monday night by conservative sting activist James O'Keefe's Project Veritas website, shows John Bonifield, a CNN producer who covers medical issues, saying, "I just feel like they really don't have it [proof of collusion] but they want to keep digging."
He continued, "And so I think the president is probably right to say, ‘Look, you are witch hunting me.'"
Bonifield also says in the video that that federal investigation into whether Trump's 2016 campaign colluded with the Russian government "could be bullshit" and that it's "mostly bullshit right now."
The Project Veritas video was apparently produced without Bonifield's knowing he was being recorded, a tactic O'Keefe has used before to undercover supposed wrongdoing by liberals and Democrats.

This is awesome. I love O’Keefe for his guts and his willingness to go right after the deceit and corruption on the left.

True, but that part of the initial investigation was over months ago and morphed into the witch hunt phase when they couldn't find anything because it doesn't exist.

Well, when he said it was BS he was telling the truth... hard to believe that would matter to CNN... but I believe you. What's your take - why would CNN chose to keep someone who told the truth about the story?
I think the entire industry of "journalism" is stacked with corrupt, lying, biased leftists. This incident allows a few individuals at one network to serve as a lightning rod to concentrate all the negative attention in one place. CNN can chop a few heads, make some "adjustments" and proclaim that despite one little slip up they are now back to their old impeccably honest and trustworthy selves.
The entire industry needs to be taken to task... they all work together to lie, divert and control the daily narrative.
This incident gives them a relatively easy out of the situation and will allow them all to continue down their evil path and simply claim that "See, one hint of a problem and we jump on it and correct ourselves. We're like saints that way".
