I always wanted to visit that historic site and July 1 is a Saturday and will fit into my work schedule. Boy Scout motto - Always be prepared and I will.

I visited G-burg as a kid, in the 60’s. Spookiest place I’ve ever been. There are ghosts flying around there like nothing I’ve ever experienced.

I go out there almost every year on the anniversary. I try to get there the evening June 30th and hang out at McPhearson Ridge where the battle started. Always lot’s of well read history lovers retracing the battle.

There are also throngs of visitors there, it can be quote congested. I doubt that the idiots that want to make a point will get very far.

Gonna be a big boom with the reenactment starting on the 1st. I don’t think they had that in mind when the South goes marching in!

I went there for my honeymoon. Ex’s great uncle died there. My x is probably an Antifa supporter by now.
