Israel again attacking Syrian government positions when Syrian shells aimed at the "rebels" or more accurately "Al-Qaeda jihadists" were said to have harmlessly exploded in the Israeli controlled Golan Heights.
The main news article on the DEBKA site right now pushes the notion of a threatening “Russian base” being established in southern Syria near Damascus and the Golan Heights region.
This anti-Russia narrative is about promoting a Saudi backed, Qatari backed war of jihadist-terrorists forces against the Assad regime.
“Whose side is Israel on?” is a worthwhile question to ask and at this blog link, mainstream sources are cited to link Israel to Al-Qaeda in Syria.

There are a number of problems with this argument. It is absurd to support the Syrian rebels in taking over an area, then "holding the Syrian govt responsible" for whatever happens there. As it is, the Syrian rebels have every motive to throw some flak over the Israeli border, in order to draw in their armed response against the Syrian govt.

I don’t normally ping on DEBKA rumors, but given that Ezekiel 38 might not be all the far off, this time I’m making an exception.
So, for whatever it is worth and maybe not much - we’ll see.
What I keep reading right now in regards to how the world is shifting/shaping up at this moment is incredibly in line with an end times explanation of prophecy video I watched years ago. One thing I remember it said that Iran would go after Saudi Arabia’s Mecca with I believe Turkey and etc..just at the end I remember they lost me some because it got all weird and supernatural science fiction-y when it came to the Antichrist, how his image would be speaking, the miracles performed on earth n stuff. On the other hand, how else are we to take much of the events in Revelation if not that?
Almost every article in this story refers to the area as ‘Israel controlled Syrian territory’. They just can’t accept that it is Israel controlled area of Golan which is Israeli territory.
There are various points of view about the situation, including those clearly hostile to Israel.
Its for the better that Israel has the high ground of Golan for its own protection.
I am pro-Israel, but not pro-secular politicians in Israel.
President Trump has decided that the United States will continue its close ties to Israel and Saudi Arabia.
President Trump has also expressed his opposition to Iran’s regime.
The Israelis and Saudis are involved in the Syrian Civil War right now and on the anti-Assad side because of Iran’s support for Assad.
Does that mean all out US military involvement in the region at some point?
I hope not.
BiBi has always said from the get go they would defend it’s borders during this war.... Given how muslims change sides and such I’d hit anything that sent shelling over the line.
