In some counties in Oregon, they are administrating hormones to 15 year olds without parental consent. School nurses can recommend to a health authority that the student, “feels” like a girl/boy so lets help by giving life threatening hormones without his parents even knowing about it!
I regard genital mutilation of either sex as being something for primitive type cultures. It astounds me that anyone who claims to believe in a perfect creator professes to believe that his perfect creations, no matter whether male or female, need to be physically altered by mere humans. Let others think as they wish, that is how I see it. Note that
I wrote THINK as they wish, not DO as they wish. Genital mutilation for religious reasons should be allowed to be performed only on those of either sex who are past the age of 18 years and voluntarily consenting. In my view there are zero reasons other than religious reasons to perform such surgery, opinions of those in the medical field notwithstanding. My view on this is set in stone and not subject to alteration.
