Raqqa is falling soon, Erdogan must step in and create the most chaos. To stop the end of ISIS or to grab plunder?

I wonder how Assad and the Iranians will react to this? Or are they in on it too?

Has been said his attack will be against Tell Rifaat and Afrin (Efrin).

Maybe the Russians will do the world a favor and bomb the Turkish convoys.

Well, Putin might.

I’m suspicious of Assad’s motives. Based on an article yesterday in AMN news. It was nonsense unless he was cooperating with Erdogan. But you’re right, the Russian Bear would like to devour Erdogan. Insolance is not well received by Putin. And past actions toward Putin don’t simply vanish.

The Turkish Army is the largest in the region. Having the largest army doesn’t always translate to the best army.

This will not end well. Islamists against Islamists. Turkey should be out of NATO ASAP. Erdogan is a lethal snake.

This means Turkey is making itself very vulnerable to the Russiaans.

Putin is licking his lips.

So what exactly is the USA’s role and strategy. I still fail to see any “good” guys outside Kurds nor see any great effort to exterminate the ISIS cockroaches. Someone here said it is like the Spanish Civil War.

I was at Incirlik in 1982. I hated it. I never understood how we could EVER be allies with them. I still don't. The Turks are NOT our friends.

My closest friend in Syria told me a year or more ago, Putin is playing Erdogan.

Guess we shall see.

There should not be a US role. It is time for the US to stop wasting innumerable money, unconsciously spilling American blood to no end. Six trillion dollars consumed in the Islamic waste bin. What has been accomplished? NOTHING!!! Listen again: the problem is the religion; Islam is a false religion based on an epileptic, rapist, adulterer, murderer, false prophet. Wherever the Saracens have gone, nothing but death and misery has followed. Enough already. When will the west learn the lessons of history?

I still think the most likely outcome (once ISIS is eliminated) is the partition of Syria between the Russian/Assad regime in the West, Turkey with a strip just south of the border, and the US/Kurds with the rest.

On the other hand, Erdogan is just stupid enough to think he can take on the Kurds or the Syrian regime by himself.

What NATO protocols would cover a Turk versus USA clash?

Iran is most of the Syrian Army. Russia has their AF and Putin with him.

Erdogan will loose that.

No, I doubt Assad can put it back together, even if he wanted to accept a Federation like the Kurds asked for.

Erdogan is talking with ME Gulf Oil money behind him.

He has screwed the Turk army up big time. Half the officers (the good ones) are in jail, dead or out of military. He recently had 2 of his top generals killed in a helicopter crash in Eastern Turkey. (guerillas did it) something like gremlins? smile

You just haven’t been watching. Kurds are down to the 3 yard line ending ISIS.

They have been totally relentless from the beginning. Have taken terrible losses and kept on going.

Our military has turned them into a great force. And they are good people. They deserve to live in peace on their own.
