Liberals keep beating the “get Trump” drum and the folks obviously are getting tired of it. Keep it up Liberals and 2018 will be ugly.

IMO they are pretty sure us red state voters are ignorant rubes that can be swayed by flashy Hollywood celebrities and BS. Ossoff was groomed and scripted as if he were auditioning for a movie role rather than running for Congress.

Prof. Jacobson noted how Dems were taking the wrong lesson from the election, claiming that a close loss was a win.Using that logic, the Atlanta Falcons won the last Super Bowl.

You should but a /S on that. Some people have an genetic deficit of humor. LOL.
Of course, you are 100% correct, BUT if they are that dense, the S/Off signal would go right over their head, and even if it didn't, F'm, if they can't take a yoke.

"Why did the Dems think they could win it?" It was magical thinking, mostly. That and Hollywood money, of which there is an evident surplus.
Because they WANTED it really, really bad! And like everything else the Dems/Liberals do...if emotions are involved then it is meaningful and therefore they "felt" like they could/should win this one!

...Dems were taking the wrong lesson from the election, claiming that a close loss was a win. Six points is a "close loss?"

Six points is a “close loss?”
That’s just the start! By the time Conservatives defund the EPA, dismantle the Department of Education, and pass national reciprocity for gun carriers, the Dems will be saying 10 points is a “close loss”!
The Dems are still living in the middle 1990’s, where the FBI can burn down a church with dozens of children inside of it, on national television, and convince the electorate that it was the people who were inside the Church’s fault.
Yes, I am talking about the Waco Davidian disaster and massacre.
It illustrates how insanely strong the leftist control of the media was then. They still control the same media, perhaps even more strongly; but we have developed alternate media to get around them.
As a people, we have finally broken the shackles of Establishment Media control. Without blatant censorship, I do not see how they can put their power back together again.

‘Why did the Dems think they could win it?’
Democrats believe Trump is unpopular. After this defeat, they will go on believing Trump is unpopular.

Why did the Dems think they could win it? They lie so much they believe their own lies.
A perfect example is the cooked polls they use to attempt to manipulate the electorate leading up to election day. Right before the big day the polls miraculously 'tighten'.
