NComptroller Susana Mendoza is warning that new court orders in lawsuits filed by state suppliers that are owed money mean her office is required to pay out more than Illinois receives in revenue each month. That means there would be no money left for so-called discretionary spending a category that in Illinois includes school buses, domestic violence shelters and some ambulance services.
I dont know what part of We are in massive crisis mode the General Assembly and the governor dont understand. This is not a false alarm, said Mendoza, a Chicago Democrat. The magic tricks run out after a while, and thats where were at.

It's the unfunded public service employees umion pension costs that's burying the state.
The magic tricks run out...
No magic. You GIVE too much away!
when employees get too expensive, business owners do the work themselves.
time to renegotiate the price of labor in illinois gov’t.
Find a quarter on the ground and call someone who cares. Bet Hollywood and rich Dems won’t answer the phone.
And no stash money from Mr Obama to hand them under the table. Pity.
Some lessons are harder to learn.
DimoKKKRATS run the legislature. Little chance of anything meaningful coming out of there.

However, the electorate has allowed the Democrats to write laws that hire too many people and pay them too many benefits.
Maybe the current crisis will force massive layoffs of people that are in unneeded jobs.

.........Illinois and LIBERALS everywhere have met their match with Trump who by now is no doubt highly pissed off at The Left just IN GENERAL anyway! (insulted his wife, threatened his life daily, insulted his young son and on and on..........he has absolutely zero good will at the moment for lefties)
I predict Trump will approve a very small amount of money, relatively speaking, to make sure hospitals and police and fire function but that money will be administered (paid out) by an independent agency not the government of Illinois which has made itself a non entity.
