Uh, CNN, is there anyone there who could pass a high school physics test?

Stay away from science. It is not your friend.

Which is why you all are on tv, not in a useful job.

I live in Arizona. Outside of the cities, it hasn’t gotten hotter. But I’ve only lived here since 1971.

Changing weather patterns are the new normal, thanks to decades of trashing the environment and a refusal from many in the party currently controlling Washington, the Republicans -- and their corporate patrons -- to even acknowledge climate change as a reality, let alone do anything about it.

Its called "seasons," and they have been here since before the Republicans.

Entire nations may soon be under water. Mega-cities that are home to hundreds of millions are set to drown, leaving huge numbers of people stranded, constraining already-limited resources, fueling violence and competition over those resources, and creating a whole new category of need: climate refugees.

Sure, in 1,000 years or so. We have plenty of time to build new cities and just stop maintaining the parts of the old cities that will be affected.

Odd that she ignores the late spring/early skiing that is going on in other places in the west. Hmmm, selective reporting. Also, the “decades” of climate change? Who remembers the steady Global COOLING crisis reported in the 70’s? When it looked like that wasn’t happening, they took the same data and switched to WARMING instead.

My bride and I have noticed the weather here in the high desert has changed back to what it was like when we were in junior high together......about 45 years ago.
Broiling hot summers, late winter storms, and sporadic winter heavy snows.

Jill Filipovic is quite the drama queen and of course CNN prints it.

Right, because summer wasn't hot before the evil Republicans refused to get involved in meaningless climate treaties. The level of stupidity in this article hurts my head.

Almost correct.

Changing weather patterns ARE normal. What happened to the Anasazi? What happened to the Maya? Where are the savannas that used to occupy what is now the Sahara?

WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THAT ICE????

Entire nations may soon be under water.

This nitwit needs a bottle of Midol.

Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud

Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century.

From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.

Yawn.

If these jerks want to get Donald's attention, they should inform him that his Mar-a-Lago estate will be under water by the end of his first term. 😁

So dumb, if you look at temps in the southwest outside of the major urban areas surprisingly to no one the temps have not changed much, in the cities like Yuma, Phoenix and Vegas they changed because of population boom. We created huge heat islands in the desert so overnight lows don’t get so low anymore in the summer and heat is retained day to day.

keep spraying crao in the air and other things USA and countries do to try to “adjust” weather for various reasons.

I believe God is in control of the weather but the stuff some are spewing into the air surely cannot help air quality and reflecting of UV Rays and such.

(I don’t know much, just my 2 cents of thoughts)
