I went to the link, and, not being a wise ass here, I swear - why does having so many DUI arrests make him crooked? I don’t see anything on that website that indicates that he is crooked in any way.

Humidity causes everyone discomfort. That’s the nature of humidity and its effects on mammals. I lived in Idaho for several years and when I moved to the south, it was like being in a sauna. But it’s not 1900 anymore and men don’t plow fields in wool suit jackets today, so there’s not really much acclimatization required, and certainly no warnings for people from California required!

Were the people you knew from California actually surprised that it was humid in Alabama?

The two Armenian thugs have been arrested, currently held on $1 million bail.

Deport them.

No, they weren’t surprised it was humid in Alabama because they were and are in North Carolina. And no, they weren’t surprised that it was humid in North Carolina. But, they did have a difficult time with the day in and day out of it. Constantly sweating, feeling as if they couldn’t breathe, nausea. Going in and out of air conditioning didn’t help, I suspect it would have gone better if there was no A/C, truthfully. It would have gone better if they had arrived in some other season. Less heat, less humidity or less of both which would be winter.

That’s bad. Were they elderly or sick?

I would hope that California adults haven’t beomce such snowflakes that humidity would do all that to them unless they were already old or sick.

They were from NorCal. The heat got them badly enough but then came the rest.

If you’re coming this way on I-40 don’t forget to stop into Knife City Outlet just before Albuquerque.

One of my favorite stops along the way.

Mu sister from Coeur d’Alene.Idaho would visit us in central Minnesota and complain about the humidity on a sunny day in July with about 50% humidity.

By all indications Bernie will be joining his murderous follower in the Lake of Fire.

No one need go there, but they and reject the work of God through Jesus Christ, trusting instead in their own works to justify them before God.

There is one judgement for the unsaved dead at the Great White Throne (Revelation 20:11-15) -- to be cast into the Lake of Fire forever.

In their thirties, no health problems that I’m aware. Still here. No problems after that first summer.

I can believe it. Me, I found the alligator skin from an arid climate annoying and in the desert it was very deceptive, it didn’t feel hot until you blistered the heck out of something, like trying to walk barefoot across a parking lot or trying to start your car and burning your fingers on the ignition. The pool felt cold too, despite triple digit temps.

Don’t go to bars. I’m not defending the thugs, but, don’t go to bars. Period.
