How long will it take until someone starts blaming President Trump (damn it feels good to say that) for this?

We need the rain in south Georgia and northern Florida.

That Okefenokee swamp needs a lot of rain to put out the fire.

On the local news 24/7. Why don’t they just wait until they know something, although based on their past performance, it will be the day after something makes landfall somewhere. Rain forecasts for Houston area are all the way from .1 of an inch to 16 inches.

Good grief. The really bad thing is that this is only the beginning of hurricane season. To think that every cloud formation is going to be blown into something approaching a Cat 5 by the so-called forecasters is just so bizarre. These people need to get a life.

I'd go first, but I'm sure I'm too late.

Our family does have a life - a very organized, busy one. If we decide to bug out, like we did with Ike, takes about an hour to load everything, notify clients and employers and we’re out of here. Ultimate destination depends on where the story is likely headed. Most difficult part is finding and loading the cat.

The NHC reports TS Cindy at 45 mph. Actual wind speeds are NHC reported wind speeds less 10 mph. So it is likely that TS Cindy doesn’t even have tropical storm force winds at this time. It will be interesting to see what the highest recorded on-shore sustained wind speed will be.
