God rest his soul. Thanks for nothing, Obozo.

He held on long enough to be home in the arms of his family, now he will be in the arms of God. May God heal all the wounds inflicted on him and may God comfort his family.

This is just so sad. Didn’t expect it to happen this fast.

This is so sad. Perhaps he understood that he was home and safe and was able to let go.

Damn sad, why did he go there?
I met people who smuggled bibles into NK before.
Was he one of those?

It was murder, not “botulism”.

Guessing the family all had had a chance to see him and then enabled a comfortable passing.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Thank God for President Trump and his team, getting Otto home to be with his family before he passed away alone in some North Korean hellhole.

Prayers for this long suffering family.

A “victim” of the “open border” mentality.

Dead at the hands of a ruthless dictator and an impotent US president.

His death breaks my heart; however, I believe that even though he was in a coma, he felt safe, loved, and at peace in his family’s arms. I’m so glad President Trump and Rex Tillerson were able to arrange his release. Prayers for his family.

The poor kid made a mistake going to North Korea, but certainly he didn’t deserve torture, imprisonment or death for it. May God rest his soul and grant peace to his family.

I’ve seen that happen. People need to be given permission to let go. Was he a Catholic? Did he receive Last Rites?

Very unfortunate news. Poor young kid made some bad choices. He certainly didn't deserve to be beaten to death.
