1. Trump didn’t get us into Syria. We have Obama to thank for that.

I’m putting my trust in Secretary of Defense Mattis as to what we should do about this hell of a mess we’re in. The fact of the matter is that our soldiers more than anyone else bears the cost of politician’s miscalculation.
There are more than a few in all the Syria threads. And the minute anyone questions the color revolution foreign policy, they are called “Putinistas”, “Assad-supporters”, “blame America first” (possibly the dumbest pro-war slogan I have ever heard), etc. Let’s face it, some (or many) of these folks we label as the bad guys are deep state cut-outs, and no one has yet bothered to refute the photographic evidence that at least one elected US Sen. has met some of them face to face. We really have no idea who our “allies” are in the ME. The same people who purport to tell us who the “allies” are have a very, very bad track record.

Nothing you’ve posted here is unknown. I just don’t see how taking out legally elected governments or fighting a war on their territory is the way to go.
