A CNN media reporter accused the Drudge Report of not caring about facts, then refused to correct inaccurate CNN reporting on guns.
Its been a tough couple of weeks for CNN. First, an assistant to CNN chief Jeff Zucker was overheard on an airplane literally declaring war on the Trump administration. A few weeks after that, a CNN host thought it would be fun to stage a mock beheading of the president of the United States. Then CNN utterly botched its reporting on whether former FBI director James Comey would contradict Trumps claim that Comey told him on three separate occasions that he was not a target of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) counter-intelligence investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
CNN spent hours breathlessly reporting, based on claims from anonymous sources, that Comey would publicly slap down Trumps claim under oath. In fact, Comey did the exact opposite, and directly confirmed Trumps claim. So how did CNN respond to its earlier reporting? Did it make a full correction? Of course not.
Instead, CNN inserted a paragraph into a story claiming that Comey does not directly dispute that Trump was told multiple times he was not under investigation. Comey directly disputed CNNs false reporting and literally confirmed the exact Trump claim that CNN said was false, and CNNs response to that inconvenient turn of events was to assert that Comey did not directly dispute Trumps claim. Okay, then. The URL on the piece still reflects its original premise.

How low can CNN sink?
They are in a place where fiction is fact and fact is fiction.
CNN is not in this for the truth, but for their agenda, whichever way the wind blows.
Kuru, which besets most at CNN, based upon their
delusions taken as FACT, may be part of their problem.
Hatred of Americans and the US Constitution rounds
out the reasons.
“CNN falsely reported early Thursday morning that the rifle used by the Alexandria shooter, an SKS chambered in 7.62×39, was a Chinese-made AK variant. This is demonstrably false, and its an error with significant implications given U.S. gun laws.”
Pretty minor error, actually. At least they didn’t call it a “Glock”...
CNN and Zucker are dirtbags. Time warner needs to go broke. Boycott everything they own,
CNN says that SKS stands for Super Kalishnikov Shooter....s/
Really. Was it an SKS? I haven’t found information about the firearm used anywhere in the media. I thought the Fed’s were keeping it secret. But if it was an SKS that explains a lot.
More typical bad writing from a “journalist” who thinks he’s writing a novel. The first paragraph (if not the first sentence) should tell the basic story that explains the headline. This guy goes through 6 long paragraphs without any explanation of what the mistake was until the 7th. I see that all the time nowadays, and it drives me crazy.
Time to pull the plug, and put all AIRPORTS up for viewers to have a choice, rather than the Clinton News.
I’ve also been hearing an Type 56, which is a Chinese copy of the SKS. I don’t know if the shooter put a larger capacity magazine or detachable magazine, or just used 10 round stripper clips during the attack.
Provided he used a stock SKS the Media, per Clinton Era Assault Weapons Ban rules couldn’t classify is as an “Assault Weapon”. SKS pattern rifles didn’t have two or more of the evil features that made it an assault weapon (Bayonet lug, pistol grip, detachable magazine, threaded barrel, collapsable/folding stock). I remember going to my first gun show with my grandfather in 1994 when he went to get an SKS because of the Clinton era ban.
CNN is a seditionist media organization. It will not correct its lies unless it promotes sedition.
With all that’s going on, it’a shame that our Attorney General’s top priority seems to be a crack down on medical marijuana.
CNN is a complete joke.
