Bottom line. From now on you win an election and go on vacation till inauguration day. ZERO transition or contact with the outgoing administration, foreign representatives, etc.
Then walk in the door and take the F over.

And has everyone forgotten candidate Obama in the summer of 2008, going to Iraq and convincing Maliki NOT to sign the status of forces agreements Bush wanted? THATS real collusion.

Tribalism is a common-sense solution to the question of “who do you trust?” It’s a survival mechanism built into our DNA by thousands of generations of survivors.

Tribalism is one of the foremost factors keeping much of the third world in misery.

Tribalism means "loyalty to my clan outweighs every other consideration, including loyalty to the truth."

It is incompatible with advanced society.

There is a reason why science, medicine, mathematics, and logic made huge strides in Greece and Rome. In those cultures, truth was valued above all else, and those disciplines are all methods for distilling truth (an absolute) from observations made by fallible humans.

Excellent read. When is someone going to call out oily Chuck Schumer for threatening Trump with the deep state? How about a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of that?

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,”

At this point, our intelligence agencies no longer deserve any respect. They have lost the idea that they should be subordinate to the elected government and have decided THEY should choose governments and set policy.

It is pure treason and people will look back in 70 years at the era when America had a secret police formation that gained unconstitutional power.

Folks, THIS is the deadly standing army the founders feared. They did lot create an FBI, a CIA, an NSA.

I’ll try to write this as politely as possible.

You’re wrong.

Tribalism in an advanced culture is not about protecting a group of people.

Do you see the Conservatives gunning down people?

It is just gangsterism.

It is a group brought together to further themselves financially.

You think the Democrat tribe is being held together by all those people because they are afraid of us attacking them?

You couldn’t be more wrong.

Who is paying you?

“Don’t kid yourself, the Republicans want him[President Trump] gone as bad, if not worse that the Democrats. “

So you are saying later they will vote to impeach?

I think they are too cowardly to do that.

He was grinning as he said it. This sick SOB enjoyed the idea of the intel community as a policymaking formation, wielding its power over the executive.

You have a valid point. If they think that impeachment is a done deal, yes. Otherwise, no. While the hearings are going on, there will be a lot of back channel communications with Senate members to feel them out.

Let me off the same reply to you that I offered to Steely Tom:

I don’t disagree that tribalism is responsible for a lot of misery, Tom — and that “advanced society” is another way of saying “beyond tribalism.” But there’s nothing inevitable about societal advancement. Trust in governmental institutions — the very essence of an advanced society — has been breaking down for 30 years. The old ways are re-emerging in American society: more and more people are asking “who can I trust?” and realizing that only other people of like mind are worth the risk. I’m arguing THAT’s why tribalism is on the rise in the U.S. And we’ll pay a price for it...we’ll lose our advanced society, just like the residents of Lebanon in the 1960s and the Yugoslavians in the 1980s.

The liberals loved the communist party in the old Soviet Union. "They loved the power the communist party had." "Our liberals didn’t really want all of that Marx mumbo jumbo." "They wanted power." "Because if you have power, you can TAKE wealth." "They really wanted wealth."

This is exactly right. The Progressives of the late 19th and early 20th century recognized this. They made numerous trips to the Soviet Union and before and came back extolling the virtues of communism.

So, this battle to take over the U.S. and the West has been going on for over 100 years. The only thing that has exposed this has been the 'alternative media' and the internet. The MSM is in cahoots with the progressive/liberals/left and has been all along.

Regarding the wealth, which is one of the main reasons for the usurpation of legitimate governments I suggest that, if interested, anyone should download this book. The Creature from Jeckell Island by Edward Griffin. It gives the real reason for the creation of the Federal Reserve and Central Banks.

Talk about wielding power, these people are so out of touch they believe the sixty-two million people who voted for Trump are simply going to stand aside and let them force him out of office on some nonsensical obstruction of justice charge or some equally flimsy rational. Only inside the Beltway could anyone think they have that sort of power.

Meulher and Commi are close friends, one is the godfather of the other’s child. This is not an impartial relationship and Meuhler should be replaced with someone who is not closely connected to Commi or any of President Trump’s enemies. Is it asking to much to require at least six degrees of separation?

There have always been tribes that were hard working then other tribes who waited till harvest and simply stole the other tribes food.

Very insightful. The democrats are the party that always circle the wagons when one of them has done something wrong. They put their tribe above everything else, including the good of the nation.

I don’t know what the Constitution says about this but is it possible that the Governors could intervene and do something about this? Republicans occupy most of the governorships but of course it is difficult to say which ones are dedicated to the nation and which ones are willing to turn traitor.
