I was extremely lucky. It’s only a three mile walk but that takes time and I was already late getting the cats fed, which put me behind on getting US fed. LOL!
The meetings are at 11 a.m. but I have to get up around 8:30 to get all the cat stuff dealt with before I can start getting ready to go. And it’s a 20 minute drive to the restaurant where the meetings are held.
Normally at 8:30, I’m just getting into a deep sleep. LOL!
UGH!! TOO HOT down there!
Not as hot as expected here but the humidity has the heat index up there. Not real pleasant if one is going to be outside for any length of time. That’s NOT on my agenda today. LOL!
Not pleasant for either of us. Ack! I did stay in, except to sweep some of the leaves away from the back door where they keep blowing after the storm. Hubby will have to clean them up soon!
Oh no.....you had to walk part of the way home. Hurrah for your friend!!
Ah well, a little exercise never hurts. LOL! I don’t mind walking but prefer it under my terms. At least it had rained earlier and cooled things off nicely.
